Paying him that much money on potential when he hasn’t even showed it is wild. Even in that comeback they made in the playoffs was because he threw 5 picks and the defense played lights out to keep LAC from scoring anymore. So you can’t even give him credit for that comeback when he was the one who put them in the hole in the first place.

I think the problem with the entire QB takes as a whole is that everyone believes the QB has to be on par with Mahomes, Allen, or Lamar. But the market sets itself, if there were better QBs in FA to replace these guys then they wouldn’t be getting this money but the fact is no one wants to go back through the draft and take a chance on a unknown player and go through the growing pains while they lose. Because the first chance folks get they’ll switch up and say “you should’ve just paid him”. If we’re going to have the discussion of only top tier QBs getting paid then we need to actually call a spade a spade and say that only the guys who are winning with minimum help are worth the money.

Even if he were not, and face it, only 3 active QBs have a Super Bowl, he simply has a bigger ceiling than all other QBs except Mahomes but has been hindered by terrible coaches, OL, receivers and RBs. He single-handedly orchestrated the biggest comeback in playoff history and is easily the most gifted QB in the NFL.

The fact of the matter is Trevor really went to the worst team as the first overall pick took them to the playoffs in his second year that he was hurt in part of but on top of that played well this year until he was hurt I don’t know what shade shady has on T-law

Trevor had Urban Meyer his first year (2021)…any team would have been cr@p with Meyer as the coach. The next year (2022), the Jags then hired a SB winning coach and added weapons, and only went 9-8 and only made the playoffs because they won their division, which was one of the worst. So to pretend he was fantastic and they earned a playoff spot is just laughable and disingenuous.

Wow! An exciting segment. I won't comment about the style of Bucky, Joy, James, or Shady; I will just say this segment was "Must-Watch TV"; it was fun, entertaining and informative. Bucky tried to defend Trevor's honor admirably....but I've seen every game of Trevor's over the past three seasons...his situational awareness...as much as his injuries and his poor oline play....is why Trevor isn't a top 15 qb. Even when the Jags were 8-3...the passing game didn't look smooth. And the turnovers cannot be overlooked.

He normally scrambles when his 1st read is covered or jammed.. plenty of times he misses guys cause of his tunnel vision on brown cause he too busy crying in his ear. Ride and decide... Trevor Lawrence turned the jags organization around. Check the jags record after we made the playoffs with Blake Bortles. You can go back even further than that if you want to include the playoffs with Blake Bortles that we made our record was terrible. Trevor Lawrence been here for years, one year with urban Myers, who was the worst coach in NFL history. When he got a real coach and Doug Peterson Trevor Lawrence show he’s a star. I’m not gonna say generational because us jags fans are waiting for that. But he is top 15 qb in the NFL. Shady stop hatin.

Shady said chargers lost that game because of the Chargers. No Trevor Lawrence threw four total touchdowns (1 at the end of the 2quarter) that game in the second half he drove that team down field and scored every time Trevor made adjustments and he ate that team up in the second half shady is a hater like stop it.
