Monster musician and producer. Trevor’s talent is simply off the charts. Crazy that most had to wait until 90125 to figure it out.

Most had to wait until 90125 because he was in South Africa and mostly unknown to the rest of the world. It is not like a lot of South African musicians are well-known elsewhere.

@@villebooks What the hell does that even mean??? He is TOTALLY underrated here in the States. Most people will never even have heard his name, must less give him the full credit that he deserves for resurecting Yes from the scrap heap of history (outside of the legacy Yes fans). Do you think that if 90125 wouldn't have been released (or "Love Will Find A Way") that the vast majority of listeners to popular music would have cared about Yes? Trever picked-up that band and NO doubt helped them along their way to fatter pay checks. Andf I say that as a HUGE prog rock fan, and one who knows and understands legacy Yes addicts. But Steve Howe didn't make Yes a household name like Trever did. No comparison. Steve's biggest commercial/household name project was Asia (whom I also love).

I'll never forget 1975 (I think) Steve Howe quit Yes just before their scheduled tour. I had front row tickets and way WAY pissed.. This youngster named 'Rabin' was hired to fill in just weeks before the show, drinking age in LA was 21 at the time and the University almost didn't let him play. But make it in anyway... He was less than 15 feet from me while performing.- Hi hit every signature lick, and totally blew everyone away! A true guitar virtuoso!! Best thing that ever happened to YES...

You missed it by 8 years.3: That tour NEVER played in LA, much less a university. Even the Big Generator tour did not play there!4: You are so stupid, you would try to drown a fish. What the hell is wrong with you? Trying to make shit up to sound cool instead of being a fool? I am posting your stupid ass on Facebook to see how many people laugh at you. You really should not lie and before you get in deeper water, this Trevor Rabin solo tour (IE the song above) was in 1989. You know how I know all this? I ran cables on his tour for audio...

Underrated guitar player where you can hear the important contribution in composition & performance he made to the Band: Yes. Not to take anything away from Stevie How who I classify with the many othet guitar gods of that era including: Jimmy Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn , Steve Morse, Rick Emmit, Steve Hackett, Eddie Van Halen, Robin Trower, Roni Le Teccro, Jimmie Page, David Gilmor, Rich Williams to name a few! No disrespect to those I have not mentioned since there is more you can add to the list. Today? sigh......they are out there but not as recognized by the Industry as they once were.
