2020 has seen a bunch of changes that have affected different parts of the economy in different ways. Let's look at them, especially as related to skyrocketing gun sales, ammo sales, and related manufacturing.
My grandfather had a saying, usually referring to having a surplus of toilet paper in the house (funny given the times that we’re in). “It doesn’t go bad, it doesn’t eat anything sitting on a shelf, and you’re more than likely going to use it at some point in the future.” That’s how I view having a bunch of magazines...and why I’ll still pick up a few every time I see a good deal on them.
We have several guns in our family, definitely don’t want any taxes imposed on them. Not sure how they could do it being it’s our right to bare arms and not their right to make them unaffordable. The same with the ammo.
Could clearly be a perception issue, but it appears to be Immaturity. Once you have had life knock you down a few pegs, you swallow your pride and learn that lesson. A little humility and respect for those around you is certainly needed.
Stay humble and grounded and avoid getting high on your own supply. All gun companies are selling everything they make no matter what. When stocks all go up the less savvy stock brokers all think they're geniuses and they're not. Y'all have a great company but stay humble.
Squad based force on force tactics classes would be something I think a lot of people would for sure be interested in. Also combat medic and how to administer while in a fight would be a great course.
@@johnwicksfoknpencil Not saying it did, but being prepared and know how to render aide and how to be combat effective are key skill sets. If your not constantly learning or improving then what exactly are you doing right?
Your point about making content and videos to reach wide audiences is absolutely solid, However I think teaching those classes isn't just necessary but that the rippling effect it has on communities when other dudes can now teach friends and family to a high level is better than just videos. Don't underestimate the sort of impression you can leave on students, the effect it has is significantly more impactful than any video ever will be.
You don’t need to be yoked. Prior military I was large at 243lbs then joined the military and went down to 203-205. Prior life was College Sports. Came with Gym - CrossFit circuit training- getting that selfie beach body muscle look- No! It was worthless with gear-kits. Need endurance and motion moving “Everyday” muscle movement function bulk. Make sense?
As in literally every video you make, your honesty and effort to stay objective, and stating clearly when it becomes subjective, have impressed me a lot and it generates trust and confidence to listen to your advice and purchase products from you, which you appear to stand and take responsibility for. (Saying this as I don't have any personal experience in the latter regard so far). Please stay the way you are guys, I wish more people had the balls to clearly say who they are and what they stand for.
Working on mid range (400 to 600 yards) and long range shooting (up to 1000 yards or more) makes sense with limited ammo availability. Mid range is still doable with AR15s and intermediate calibers if you don’t have larger caliber rifles able to stay supersonic past 1000.
Got a local company in my hometown that makes AR’s from scratch on the side (except the BCG). They also produce parts for big firearm manufacturers. I know 5 years ago they were making parts for the new Barrett sniper rifle the military adopted.
Obstacle course is cheap. Home Depot and lumber yard and a few weekends would make for some great content, and will make for awesome reviews in the future.
Would like very much to see a video of example personal comms setups to be carried in kit and actually utilizing and principles for operation in urban/rural/mountainous environments. I know the Comms video that's already up is good but it could dive into actual use more.
People that beurocrats deemed essential have not skipped a beat in cashflow. Ones that can invest have plenty to purchase Firearms. If you sell firearms you have plenty or cash for more like these guys.
I really do enjoy watching both of You. Both of You are funny but at the same time really . Serious. Keep up the Amazing work. Thank You for my . holster
Because MoNeY. Instead of being smart and not taking orders they will allow you to still pay them for a product they may not have for months. I can understand being back ordered for a week or two, but months? Yeah. Stop taking orders at that point. You obviously can't meet demand regardless of the reason why.
Most businesses clearly notate if the item you are buying is on back order. If you don’t like what SG is doing then just cancel your order and spend your money elsewhere.
Optics planet did the same thing to me. Put in cart, added 2 day shipping, checked out, confirmation email, second email saying 2-4 months... I promptly canceled.
@Jacob Jingleheimer Yup. That was my first experience with them. Really want a Trijicon RX06, still haven’t gotten the money back yet (even though the email said I wouldn’t be charged until the order was shipped). Went to my local shop and picked up my second choice optic EOTech 512... learned today I have a astigmatism which sucks.
I think you should try an episode where Lucas is not on his phone, but interacting with the host in realtime , and a topic knowledgeable someone is off camera is sorting audience questions and feeding them in. Hard for me to believe the announcer when the color man appears not to give a shit.
Great idea on the moving targets. It is a must. I had so much trouble with multiple targets coming at me. It really messes with my mind. This kind of training would solve this. thank you
I purchased the Mantis X Blackbeard for AR15 Dry Fire which has been AWESOME! I would LOVE to see more innovation in dry fire technology. More "real life" simulation integration with video game technology, when can we have a XBox/PS5 Dry Fire System with your actual firearm!
This happened during the S hook times and it ended up biting a lot of companies in the you know what.. A lot are actually being more reserved this time around and not get caught with their pants down with extra employees, machinery, and overall their back order of materials.
Im not sure there going to stop the mp5. Once that kind of money hase been dumped into tooling up a production line it can be a hard train to stop. I believe they did already say the still have plans moving forward on the mp5 but the release date is going to be pushed back a few Quarters.
Super impressed with what you guys are doing. Your morals, principles and execution of policies within your speech and how you run your company is a reprieve in the day and age that has come to pass.
I’m kind of new to this channel so forgive me for not knowing names and such, I’m assuming these two are brothers that are running this company? The guy in the hat drinks too much caffeine or something lol, kind of rude the way he kept cutting off the guy in the brown shirt (who seems to be more mature and in control).
The guy in the hat is Lucas, he started and is the CEO of Trexarms, his older brother is Isaac in the brown shirt and also has a significant role in the company.
Pretty sure they wanted to know about the development of the chest rig and not the status of a current order...especially considering a chest rig isn't currently available...
@Brian Zhang so socialism must be the answer to freedom? Last time I checked, capitalism is the reason we can buy new and better products whenever we want. Is it perfect? No. Is it the cause of restrictions of freedom? Definitely not
Not entirely true, once i went into pick up a shipment from a machine shop in Cincinnati, noticed it was takedown pins, looked at the address where it was going......LWRC
Hey man I really like your channel and it's so simple and clear that even a dumb dumb like me can understand it. Do you know any physical exercises that will help you shoot better?
Holy shit I just rewatched this and at 01:16:14 Lucas literally predicts the election rigging well in advanced of the election. God damn I love this company
The President can't dictate where private businesses sell there products i.e he can't dictate that businesses can't sell certain products online. At that point, it's no longer about the product.
How much does your RU-vid channel contribute to the company? Does it make a financial impact? If so, is it a significant impact and do you allocate profits from RU-vid to a specific department in your company?
Are you considering investing in ammo manufacturing? I invested in reloading equipment right before 2020 election and I'm happy with the decision as I can shoot more often and eliminated quite substantially dependency on the market shortages!
@@musamahmood635 Well it really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Haas and Fadal, don't get me wrong are good machines. BUT, they typically do not hold great tolerances over time and lack repeatability. A brand new Haas will be good for about a year, then they slowly turn to shit and are a constant headache.
I think California is the key word there. I’ve heard (but have not confirmed) that about half of the companies going out of business in the entire country have been in California alone.
@@wc570 I agree to an extent, because every manufacture is still running on "essential business" which is true in reality. But, industries other than gun mfg are shitting bricks n not sure how this election is going to turn out, or if our governor continues to be a Scumbag. They are holding off on any major investments. Right now, the gun industry is booming compared to aerospace and job shop type work.
@@mhsucio6830 yes, the laws and taxes in California, the Governor, the pandemic, and future outlook for heavy taxation and government oversight in california is what I was referring to. Lots of companies including Tesla are already planning on leaving the state to avoid being taxed into oblivion so I doubt many businesses are looking into expansion in California right now. They are looking for ways to move to a more business friendly state.
I thoroughly enjoy watching the T.Rex Arms channel and I get a ton of great information and entertainment from just about every video. I said that to provide context for this bit of constructive criticism: It is distracting, and appears rude, when one of two people in a video is obviously focused on the phone in front of their face to the apparent exclusion of the discussion coming from the other person on the video. It appears as rude in this video as it would if it happened at a restaurant or any other setting where a discussion involves attention and input from both parties. I get that Lucas was sifting through questions and posts. I get that he's a busy person and sometimes important things are happening with his company that he needs to monitor. But if this video isn't important enough to focus on and do well, why do it? Before I get slammed by the white knights that will inevitably come to the defense of a great content provider and an outstanding industry influencer (two things that I believe rightly describe both Lucas and Isaac) let me reiterate that I'm a big fan and avid follower of the people, channel and company that Lucas has assembled, and I'm only giving this feedback in the hopes that it will be taken in the manner it was offered - as an effort to provide sincere and constructive criticism to improve future delivery of the great content you've become known for.
