@@griffey11 I don't like how they treat some people in the community, thus driving them away and making them vote for people that don't support freedom and gun ownership
A product to meet 90% of what the civilian user would actually need. So many chest rigs are combat design. This one is realistic for civilians to use. Great colors, exceptional well thought out. User focused in civilian rule of law or protection of ones castle. JSOG6
they aren't though, he has no real world experience. all of his "experience" is on a flat range. none of his thought process is combat driven. his gear is meant to look cool, end of story
@@kasualkenny8797 Pretty ignorant comment. Lucas is bringing well priced and durable products to the civilian population. He knows his demographic, and he shoots better than most veterans I’ve seen. He’s not flaunting as a special forces operator, he’s a civilian that shoots well and wants to teach other civilians what he knows. How can someone expect every civilian shooter to have a “combat driven” thought process? If you know something really well, you can teach it, and that’s what Lucas does. I’m not fan boying, I’m being sensible.
@@kasualkenny8797 he may not have been a operator or combat vet but i give him mad props for how he runs his business, as a business man he has his shit together. So many bro vets are Neanderthals when it comes to business.
As a guy who is a retired Green Beret I find this rig refreshing. When I was on active duty that is one thing that use to irk me. Whenever I was doing low vis I hated the fact that all the weight was always forward. After awhile it always started to hurt my neck. I have been looking for a set up like this that I can leave in my truck and grab quick if I need to. I will be ordering one in the near future. Keep up the good work.
Lucas, Great concept, seems to fill a much needed gap. I'm a Special Forces guy and can affirm that this product would meet a lot of demands in Unconventional Warfare and/or other low vis ops, irregular warfare, etc... Appreciate your teams approach to innovation and product dev., keep it up. I would recommend you reaching out to the SF cadre that run the Robin Sage Exercise and let them try this product out during the clandestine phase of Robin Sage. Oh and words you are looking for would be "Permisive and Non-Permisive Environments"
@@TREXARMS Great, good to know. Appreciate your teams effort with the SOF community. One of the best private shooting schools my team and I went to really helped elevate our confidence in our abilities and looking at your videos I can tell you are one of those unique business who have helped enhance SOF operator capabilities. It really helps to know when facing down a bunch of Taliban that you have the capability to crank off six headshots in a flash. This kind of training gives an individual extreme confidence even when out nubered. When your teammates are all at about the same level of competency, it really throws the enemy off their game because you are projecring such confidence... when you should be fearful. Again, thanks for your teams support and just keep leaning forward. De Oppresso Liber!
I give this dude props. He’s putting in work and making great products and solving a problem. Pushing through barriers and any obstacles that comes his way. What’s your excuse?
I think the same cummerbund style for both ac1 and chest rig is genius. Because now you can have essential items like a med kit or reload in the same spot and work on building the muscle memory for deploying it
It’s a valid point tho. I’ve been tryna get the spiritus PC but ended up with the AC1. Whether it was a good buy? Time will tell but i kinda trust this dude. Also yes hilarious jabs lol.
@@dr3wbyyy I agree dude, I have the front and back of overt 119 but can’t get placards or cummerbund. Whose bright idea was it to sell it all pieces separately?! If anything goes wrong with supply chain you nuke your business. Same thing with BCM, in house is always better , and that’s why Lucas is ahead of the competition. Logistics and customer service is king 👑
@@desmondboyd5764 yee i never understood the logic of selling em piece by piece. Maybe if something breaks then it’ll be easy to replace? Not that it matters if it’s out of stock all the time. Im just glad Lucas’ company can provide what others cant and along with the logistics and customer service you mentioned? Hard not to like. Especially if it ends up being a proven top notch product.
@Sven3xs I mean it’s not super expensive when comparing it to the only other non custom option, the SPC cummerbund from crye which can only be used on the SPC (or JPC and AVS I think) unless it’s modified.
I’ll be honest I was a little disappointed, because yes I was expecting this to be a “direct action” style rig that I could put on a plate carrier, but now that I see what it is and what role it’s meant to fill I can definitely see this filling a role for the other half of my job
This chest rig is probably one if the most innovative pieces of kit to hit the market in quite a while. The thought put into making something for the average citizen which give them the same advantages as more professional users is nothing short of amazing. Space for everything you and nothing you don’t. Keep it up
You’re the man Lucas. Been following you for years. Just received first order from you guys looking forward to range day Friday’s. Hope to meet one day live in College Grove, TN not too far from ya. - Adam
Really cool concept. I’ve got my eye on this. Love that the goal is to make a functional piece of equipment available to people on a budget who want a basic kit to go with a rifle. Really sounds like a fit to me.
Got mine in a Vertx Ready pack with my 6" SBR. 20 year mil guy here never I'd be able to carry a fighting load w/rifle daily in what looks like a laptop bag while still carrying a laptop lol. Lucas and team are genius, this completes the perfect road travel oh shit civil unrest or mass shooting defense kit. Mine holds a VX-6R w/earpiece, pistol mag, 20 and 30 rifle mags, and Pocket DARK trauma kit. Also keep a Micro Trauma Kit now and CAT TQ in backpack. This gives me 39 rounds pistol and 70 of 300 blackout and med in two spots. With this I always have the ability to protect my wife and 2 kids no matter where we are. I can give my wife the vertx w/premier armor and full trauma and boo boo kit and tell her to hunker down with the kids while I handle business you really can't put a price on having the ability to do this especially these days. Thank You!
Favorite comment: “Nothing is stopping you from creating your own company” ❤️❤️❤️ I actually support the decision to stay away from black whole heartedly in today’s society. Makes a TON of sense and keeps people’s subconscious biases as low as possible.
This design is great. Everyone is so worried about something being able to do everything that usually the stuff isn’t great at anything. This is super compact and doesn’t have anything you don’t need and I feel like it’ll run way better than a strap rig. Definitely getting one of these for my car and one for my bag
Lucas love your vids. I have gained tons of useful info . Will be buying your products as soon as I can. As Even Morlet has said , love your honesty. Shows how real you are. Side note it would be so awsome to train with you all . Thanks
This is simple and on point. Less bulky than anything out there and best body retention than other chest rigs. With banged up shoulders I’ve found it better reaching to the chest than around the body. Even reaching around a belt and pulling magazines up sucks. Like that the colors are also less tactical looking, blends in good with thin windbreakers. Great product!
Great idea for civilian/range use. I built my chest rig about 8 years ago with this concept in mind. Small enough to throw in a pack and conceal under your jacket. The price of this rig is excellent. My custom Mayflower with HSGI and G-Code has me sitting at close to $600CAD. $130 for this is a steal.
We think alike Lucas. I've literally been thinking of designing a concealable chest rig for a while now, and then i see this video. That's awesome! I was inspired by the clutch belt by Unity but wanted something that would still allow me to keep my appendix carry.
"That kind of trouble" can find you without you looking for it. Days ago a guy in France with two loaded handguns and a cowl has been arrested as he was going in a subway. No one is strapped there. If life ain't a video game, then get strapped, so you never end up being the only one on the business end of a gun and no chance at survival. Evil exists. Violence isn't evil. Violence is a tool both good and evil can use. The War of Independence hasn't been won with Washington offering flowers to the British. ISIS hasn't been culled from Syria with a friendly barbecue. The Church that got attacked in Texas some years ago hasn't been saved with only prayers. Women carrying don't get out of the clutches of rapists with "just say no". Learn how and when to use violence as a tool. Put it at the very bottom of the toolbox. Once the other tools have been exhausted or are downright unsuitable for the job, you'll be happy it's there. In the meantime, pray you'll never have to use it.
@@whoisjohnlamb French citizen here. I'm of the opinion Western society has been brainwashed to believe violence is evil, and has been pacified as a result. We still have about 30% of our households armed here, with your run-of-the-mill 12 gauges and rifles, as hunting is still very much alive here. But self-preservation culture has become just about non-existent...
Lucas, I know this video is two years old but I’m now just going on my journey of buying equipment and training aids. I just snagged a ready rig on sale for $75 purchase today and also a tourniquet pouch🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
I will be get this soon this truly is the next step. Most people like me get to strung up on getting into a situation then trying to get out of one, there is a time and place for most of the gear we have. This set up pretty much covers everything we need beside armor like he stated and this is something you literally wear everyday or on the carry to get home and truly gear up or go around swagged up giving no f
You're making me want to start my own nylon stuff. Giving me ideas for chest rigs and plate carriers/plate carrier accessories. At first I was sceptical about this chest rig but once you started explaining how it worked and it's purpose, I took back my thoughts. Same thing with the plate carrier. You guys are putting out some really interesting stuff.
I think this is a awesome idea, and a noble one. Making quality gear set at a more obtainable price is a great concept. I think the people razzing you were thinking of the Unity Clutch, but are missing the fact that this is not meant to be Gucci. They have their differences as well. Keep up the good work
I don't always agree with Lucas but this is a great idea. It's not a hi speed save hostages rig. It's a rig for reasonable citizens and is practical over tactical.
Watched this vid again because idk why but I’ve had the cheat rig in gray since it dropped! Love it and have zero complains because like he says it’s gtg out the dang box! No accessories or parts needed to run it, but you can if you need to.
If you can get to where you can keep these in stock, and I like it and can integrate it into my system, I will switch to your rig. For one reason and one reason alone, and that’s them being in stock and readily available. Right now for work I’m running a haley micro rig. I love the rig, it’s the best one I’ve ever come across over all my years. However, it subconsciously limits my capabilities when I’m using it. Because they’re so impossible to get, I subconsciously don’t run it as hard, and in turn don’t exert my top capabilities, because I don’t want to mess it up. I know if I mess it up, I won’t be able to replace it. That’s a huge deal for guys who use this stuff for work. If we shit can our gear in the field, we HAVE to be able to replace it. It’s what we train with and what we use. Having an irreplaceable system is unacceptable in today’s modern tac community. There is no reason for tactical gear companies to over-hype their brand and then intentionally under-supply the market for the purpose of keeping the MSRP high. IF you can keep these in healthy stock, you will likely have a permanent customer, Lucas. Please take over the nylon gear industry and shut down these hypebeast companies who sell rigs that aren’t even ready to use out the box. So not only do I have to source the rigs, I have to source the inserts and any other accessories I use for it. And these are always just as out of stock as the rigs themselves. Keep it up man. We’re rooting for you. However, until you can keep this stuff in stock, you’re just another crazy hyped chest rig that’s unobtainable, giving me zero incentive to make the switch
i really feel like you could fix the major issues with traditional mini rigs with just a better elastic strap, rather than webbing with zero stretch. a nice two or three inch wide elastic strap with a bit of padding, or even just sewn edge reinforcement for durability.
@@ahhhyesss69ing While I can see that point about price I'm glad its still more affordable compared to other rigs on the market. I'd rather drop 130 on this instead of 200+ on a spiritus rig plus waiting forever just to piece it together.
Can you leave mags and gear in these without worrying about the cells stretching out? Or should you leave the mags out until you are actually using it?
I lived in Nashville and was a professional musician. Played fiddle and I can’t tell you how many times people talked about what I had in my violin case lol 49:00 ish. Hint... Tommy gun
If you really want black. You'd be surprised how well krylon does on these fabrics. I spray painted my old FLC that was in ACU digitard and now it's brown and OD. Still holding up on the new color some 3 years later
Need solid colour Velcro patches in a multitude of colours to match undershirt, so when overshirt is open, it blends with undershirt through the gap. However T. Rex doesn’t need to make this, it’s just a bit of Velcro from Amazon, some good glue and a square of t-shirt material.
I’m going to be honest I was excited but realized I’m probably unable to get anything because my luck this month alone it like trying to write your name in cursive with your toes while typing an essay with your tongue
As a professional civilian I think this might be the product I’ve been looking for. Been trying to run a plate carry for a survivalist role and it’s too heavy and hot when combined with a pack that can comfortably sustain me for 14 days on the move (Appalachia area). Not only was I losing 15-20 miles a day but I had to get it off me as soon as I’d make camp. Defeats the purpose since I’d technically be most vulnerable when I’m gathering resources or fishing. Unless someone guides me towards something else I think I’ll give this chest rig a shot. Worst case it goes into the dumb idea pile. Edit: just realize I sound like a nut job. The idea would be for an event where rule of law no longer applies and you’d want to isolate yourself from an unprepared society or some other event where people are willing to do anything to insure their survival even over yours. So yeah, nut job….😂
This is the exact kind of chest rig I was looking for. I bought it minutes after I got the Newsletter email this morning so I'm really looking forward to getting it.
I have one of these and like it. To me though the AR mag pouches are a nice option but pistol sized mag pouches would probably synergize better with the concept. If you are carrying a rifle with you at that point you've already gone overt. Being able to slip this on and conceal it under a jacket or shirt to augment your capabilities with your CCW or tiny concealable PDW (ex.flux raider) seems to fit the theme better.
Your streams are pretty much the only ones I will watch or listen to on regards to guns and gear. I guess it’s just cuz you move at a good pace and talk about things that I wanna hear about.
@@TJstrong11 ya it's all in fun but heres the thing. AK guys always talk about how their platform is more versatile and better in every way but then in the same breath they're bitching about how everything needs to be made especially for them and they need more products to be specially tailored to their platform. It gets annoying.
Need to support this company to keep the innovation coming. Its expensive and risky to launch stuff like this but I don't think they will have an issue
You combine that rig, with a unity tactical style belt (in a pack), along with a Fold AR and you are set. IMHO... for my mission of AT or Active Shooter. Throw on the belt, unfold the AR, and get to work. Fold everything back up and back in the pack to move out. Nice....
I would like to see a back folding Velcro flap to keep the wrapping portion of the cumber bun secure/ keep it from catching and peeling... Just my novice opinion. Keep up the good stuff my fellow AMERICANS!
I've been looking for a product just like this for a descreet "grey man" loadout. POU: thin laser cut Molle plate carrier with plate only, inside a light jacket. Then this chest rig inside a backpack to toss on in case something goes down.
