I don't care how fanboyish this sounds, or obvious like maybe I'm preaching to the choir, but Trey is the best. He's the best ever. I know there are better technicians, even some more creative, but he's like a magician. His devotion to tone and atmosphere and his seemingly eternal childlike enthusiasm for music remind me why I wanted to pluck around like a mook on my own guitar. He was anointed a long time ago and he's lived up to his enthronement with grace and purpose. Legend.

You can find it in the "Backpage section of the HFB. It sets the tune for the greatest jam ever, as there will be no jams afterward. Looks like you’re a gizzard fan as well, welcome! The creative output of Phish and King Gizzard and unparalleled in bands that are still playing today. A lot of parallels between Gizz and Phish’s early days in terms of output and touring schedule and fan base.

Lol, I put my name on the wait list when Paul first launched his website figuring by the time he got around to me I’d have the $10k to blow. Not only have I never got a reply, but they’re more than $10k now and I still don’t have the $10k to blow even if they were.

Thanks Trey!! So generous to do this. I was so curious about the new tones at the beginning of tour that I bought an old Line 6 M5. Just got it today and was mining for Trey’s new tones. I was pretty damn close and then saw that he released this video. Glad I bought that M5 when I did! The tones this tour have been unreal, defining 4.0 outside of the Covid break and new Koa. Would love to see what the other guys and crew are up to!

That riff at 18:20 should be a song, add in a riff from 18:54 over it...damn that would be sick. Imagine that sped up a little and with the whole band ohhhh man... Trey's enthusiasm and joy for music is incredibly inspiring. My music sounds nothing like Phish but Trey has been one of my biggest influences musically just in his approach alone. So awesome

So nice to be able to dig into what he was doing and to have it explained by the man himself is quite a treat!! Didn’t quite catch what speakers he said he was using? This is years of experience just laid out for us in such a beautiful humble way..;-) thank you phish Thank you Trey..💥🚀

This is A+++. IMHO historically when he talks about his gear he is either cagey, withholding or kinda condescending. This is much more genuine and he seems so happy to explain stuff. I literally could watch this if it were 3 hours and he went through every knob

I think the condescending tone was caused by the opioids back in the late 1990's. So glad Trey caught himself beforeit got worse. I've been there, feeling like a million bucks while lookin' like a pile of doo-doo with an attitude. This is the opposite, and it's awesome!
