When Lance was with the 49ers he kept getting the "he's inexperienced" excuse but he simply takes too long in his progression and injury prone. It's a bust.

Yup, the Cowboys got fleeced. Trey was a goner when the 49ers signed Allen and Darnold as backups. They didn't sign up to be QBs 3 and 4 and Trey was the odd man out. It was just a matter of getting something for him and they got Malik Mustapha with that 4th rd pick. He looks good so far.

It's the preseason. This is where you are able to try things you wouldn't normally attempt during the season. Trey has upside. 2 of the picks weren't his fault. One ball was wrestled away, and another, the defender jumped the route. Of I were a Cowboys fan, I wouldn't be worried.

@@efrembrown10 the have him throwing a million times per preseason game. Defense picked up on this and was ready for this + no run game to boot, except treys own run game. That's madness for a guy with very little game time. Coaches have not developed him at all in the last year. McCarthy sucks & his offensive scheme sucks. Trey has to get out of Dallas if he ever wants to develop more. Dallas is weaker and nfc east/nfc as a whole is stronger... Dak will have a shit ton of INTs this year, mark my words. Missing the playoffs at 8 - 9.
