I once had a run where I showed him a picture of a Psyduck that I'd hit with an apple. It was falling in the water and only the very tip of its bill was still visible in the picture. I got almost 3,000 points for it. I later showed him a picture of an Articuno that was almost right in front of the camera. He gave me around 1,500 for it. He said it wasn't big enough, and wasn't centered despite being right in the middle of the frame. Apparently duck > legendary prehistoric bird that has never been seen before.

I'd like for someone to animate a moment from this series; you can have all three of them in the car with Jon and Chuggaa guiding Tim on how to use the camera, or have two monitors next to Tim with Chuggaa and Jon on them and have them control which way they face or follow where Tim's facing.

Give Oak a break, he's not a photographer, he's a Pokemon professor who is clearly senile and looking for some new hobbies to take up. Let him have his fun, even if it involves badly grading amateur pictures of the critters he studies.
Oak: You took a picture of Superman arm wrestling with the Hulk while Hercules is in the background holding up a meteor while big foot is sitting on it? Only 1200 points for that because it's not in the center, but I've got a better picture, it's a picture of a vacuum cleaner next to a pair of shoes, 2000 points.
At the very least they don't forget their relative's name or are blind to the blatantly obvious things in pictures. Also don't forget Prof. Rowan and Prof. Sycamore, the former is the most responsible of them all and the latter gives you a second starter that can Mega evolve.
Keep in mind this is the same man who forgets his grandsons name and cant tell if your a boy or girl. Should we really be surprised he hasn't got a clue how to rate pictures
Obviously the Dugtrio thing was because of the fact only one head popped up if you want to go to pose you need to snap when all 3 are up it IS Dugtrio after all
With 20 years having passed, it would be a crime if the grading system in New Pokemon Snap was as bad as it is here. Still, that doesn't make Oak's shenanigans in this game any less funny.
Congratulations everyone, Professor Mirror is the son of Prof Oak. Because he is almost just as stupid as Oak. This time, it's thinking this photo is of this pokemon, instead of, you know, the one in the dead middle of frame?
