DIRECTIONS:
1. Start with a 12x12 double-sided cardstock
2. Use The Works All-In-One tool to cut the cardstock 5 ½”x12”
3. Score the paper at 4” and 8” (This will give you three equal sections for the base of the card)
4. Measure up on the left side 2 ½” and make a mark. Cut a straight line between the mark and the top of the right side of the card.
5. Fold the card where you created the score marks.
6. Now, you can decorate the card however you want.
7. I used the Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Collection to create the flowers and leaves.
8. Use artist’s or painter’s tape to keep the 6x9 mixed media paper in place.
9. Squeeze out small dots of acrylic paint on the top of the tape.
10. Scrape the paint down the paper with a pallet knife.
11. Add additional layers of paint with a pallet knife and set it aside to dry completely.
12. Add line and dot details with paint markers.
13. Cut flowers and leaves by running the paper and die sets through the Revolution cutting machine.
14. Glue the pieces on the background with a glue pen.
TIPS & TRICKS:
Take a screenshot of the dimensions at the end of the video.
● This is the easiest way to create the card base is to score it into three equal
sections (4", 4", 4" = 12")
● Use Vicki Boutin Mixed Media to make the flowers and leaves.
● Use Adhesive Foam Dots to add dimension to the flowers on the card.
