I'm still trying to figure out why I'm getting such poor gas mileage. At first I just figured it was due to the larger engine combined with the extra weight of the bike, but looking at the website the same engine in the StreeGlide is supposed to get 45mpg and the trike is supposed to get get 42. I was getting around 42 on my my Ultra Limited with the 103. I'm like you, I will re-evaluate at the 5000 mile mark and see if there is a tuner or other upgrades that will give me at least 40mpg! It's also frustrating because with the whole country on lockdown its hard to take a long distance road trip to see what the "real" mpg is. These 100-150 mile trips that I am currently taking are not really a fair way to measure. The two or Three trips I have taken were in windy conditions and might have lowered the MPG a bit too. BTW, can't wait to see how those slip-ons look and sound. keep up the great content
Ken Pacheco awesome, definitely will be dropping another video on the slip on exhaust. Thanks for the information and hopefully sometime soon we can get the bad fuel economy under control. As long as I’m not doing 70-75 I can manage 37-42 MPG with speeds of 60-65. Hopefully soon the country will reopen and we all can get back to the open road, thanks again for the comment.
@@stevenburris376 yes, have since fount out if I keep it under 3k rpm so like 70 and under I get in the low 40's upper 30's at worst. So, I try to stay off interstate so I'm not doing 75 or 80
