This trial is actually good practice as a new player because it will put you against most of the enemies you need to learn how to fight to progress in this game
0:09 wow agamatsu, thank you for these encouraging words of advice. ill take these and apply it to my ingame knowledge so that i can finally stand a chance in the trial of one
Tip: If you are having trouble with the sand golem, you can become mantraless medium to use 10 investment points(you will still have 5 remaining) and then buy mace, as golems have high slash resist. if u arent mantraless, just have a friend drop you a mace then use it in the trial
A tip for the golems, u can m1 mash while mashing parry for the spinning move. It lets you get good damage in while it's supposed to be the golems turn to attack.
Not to mention he got to 75 med without having to buy the book or actually grind the levels. All he has to do is get a katana and level his mantras and he can basically hold his own in any 1v1 now.
Even if you are unable to beat it, it's still worth giving it just for the rare/legend cards, I was able to make it to the sand knight in my first couple of tries and got pretty decent cards usually 1 legend and 2 - 3 rares which is a great start tbh. Although I was later able to beat it with some practice and a lil bit of cheese and glitches.
This also allows heavy users to get enforcer axe 40 levels before actually being able to fight the enforcer normally as you can see Aga picked up the enforcer axe from the body.
@Devil_Boy um lmao as my comment literally explained you can get like top 4 weapon for the heavy class at level 15 solo thx to the trial so it’s not very balanced but actually the devs might just remove enforcer axe from the drop pool for the trial one enforcer
My biggest issue is the angels. Enemies' ai turn to mush when more than one target you, like when you fight multiple mudskippers at once and they start just all attacking at once, you walk towards them and they ALL back up, takes like a full minute for one of them to actually step forward. It's the same with the angels except they can kill you.
For people with 200 ping, the most i can recommend for big monsters is to dodge the first attack they throw out and parry a second one if its a multi hit or dodge if it’s unblockable. Ex. Sharko, dodge the first attack, if it’s a swipe you can parry the next one, if its a kick well, its a kick, dodge it for both 1st or 2nd hits. (Note for the last stage, you might have to resort to normal parrying due to the orbs being wacky.
I think this is one of the coolest things they've added so far, although I do wish there was some easier way to get to it so that if I do screw up and want to start over, I don't have to sail all the way out to Minityrsa again
@@momoavatar4960 infernasu showed it, you need like 10 feathers from an owl and bring it to a new npc in the depths where the widow spawns, new oath gives you illusion magic and to learn the skills u need to give the npc more feathers
Sharko should be fine for me, but the thresher is where I struggle. I tend to over m1 a lot and suck at parrying multi hits like the thresher triple bite so.
I am glad that they went this route with fixing luck and progression speed, rather than simply making a new grinding method or something boring. In addition, The Trial of One will hopefully help new players get a grip on fundamentals of combat.
It probably is. And if you haven't completed it, but want to keep practicing and struggle with most of them, I would even recommend you repeat it, to get practice and learn to fight the mobs you'll probably fight a lot in an efficient way. PD: Since you're gonna be lvl 1 while doing this, it's actually gonna help even more in future, cause, if you know how to fight them at lvl 1-10ish, being higher lvl and fighting them will just be a walk through the park.
Damn this will be pretty useful and such a cool thing added to the game, this trials give equipments such as a new axe and red royal duelist, even more but I haven't got those for the moment
Practiced the trial for an entire week and now i completed it more than twice, it is hard , and honestly i'd recommend just making a high lvl account and practice parrying /dodging each monster until you can do it almost perfectly , cause going to minityrsa and having to wipe every single time is time consuming
this is actually pretty nice since i always worry about npcs since im solo i cant practice on them safely without dying and if only there was a way i could get in some practice without losing all my shit i woild be way easier
Bell idea:Polymorph/Ben10 bell Description:”Transform into the horrors you’ve faced” How it works: You transform into the last monster you fought alone. The transformation lasts for 10 seconds, if you leave the game or die the bell resets and you have to kill a different monster to transform.(Kaido, Primadon, and Enforcer are excluded from the transformations)
If u guys r like struggling to angel or enforcer I recommend bringing mace into the trial of one and use the mace if u parry an angel or enforcer just simply press r most of the time it will guard break and since theres new mace type weapon pve should be super super easy
are you sure that the orbs hurt the alpha sharko? Because I let the sharko get hit by like 6 rounds of those orbs then started attacking and still ended up dying using light weapon, so im guessing it really doesn't get hurt by the orbs. And that it just has really low hp
If we die in here, do we get sent back to the overworld with 1 life? (Assuming that we stoll have 2 lives remaining) Or can we leave the trial mid-way?
Hypothetically speaking if u wipe and u brought an enchanted wep with 15 med req down as an item in purgatory, can u like farm back those 15 points and put them in med weapon in the trial and equip the weapon so you don't lose it? That's if u can pass down enchanted weapons. Also do you lose stuff if u die in trial
@@rey_2860 Yes, I know what I'm asking is can you go straight to this place as a freshie with the weapon u passed down after you've left purgatory so you can put the stats req in to equip said weapon. After doing a certain amount of trials for the stat points
@@velocityvector2214 good question. I heard that entering the trials removes any clothing or food you have in your inventory. I feel like it'd be the same for weapons. It needs to be tested though
There should be a trial of sixty like if your level 60 there is a place in the depths to go to a new world but to unlock you have to fight the hardest enchanted mobs and if you beat it you uncap and can go to a new world
It's actually very easy to kill threshers if you are able to space yourself just right outside of their range, I fought two at the same time by myself without taking any damage. Though this took me some practices to replicate.
Fun fact: You don't need to kill the 2 angels, if you knock one then pick it up, after a few seconds the other one will despawn and the trial will be completed successfully
quick question yall , when i go to a campfire , i don't get that bar where you can put your points into , why ? or am i just dumb and don't know how to open it ?
The 2 angels are the scariest thing for me. Sharko? Ez. Thresher? Ez. Alpha sharko and orbs? Okay maybe a bit scary. Enforcer? Ez. Sandstone? I'd probably manage to mess up with how much hp it has. Erisia golem is just free
It won't even let me fight against the sharko because it just freezes and does all my health in a couple of hits then it glitches me and then I cant even use my sword
I think it's technically a soulbound item so maybe it could work? Why not test that theory (would be very op tho, especially against the sand knight lol)?
