JazakAllah khayran Shaykh for addresing what's happening in the UK...SubhanAllah it's a very uncertain time...we thought we were in safety living in London, being amongst majority Muslims...but this bubble of ours burst within a day or two!! I agree wholeheartedly with Sheikh Yasir Qadhi. Muslims should vote to make our voices heard. I do not understand those who say it is Haraam to vote! They are happy to live here, but they want to sit like dummies and just go with the flow.
We should look into the whole talk not just pick on a few words just because they seem pleasing to the listener. Remember mark twain said if voting changed anything, we wouldn't be allowed to do It.

Many of the lectures of Epic Masjid and other renowned Islamic Scholars worldwide are republished on other Islamic Channels on RU-vid and other social media. Of course, the intention is to spread the goodness as far and wide as possible. What bothers me is most channels add a background music or humming to the lecture. I don't know why they do it. Maybe, it's to avoid copyright checks by the social media hosts. Allah knows best. My point is that when the Holy Quran and the Sunnah are being discussed, everyone is obligated to listen with utmost respect and humility, like how in Jummah Khutbah we are not allowed to speak. In some videos, the background music or humming is quite loud and in some others it's faint so that it can affect the subconscious mind only. I think this is Bidah and disrespectful to Almighty Allah and His Messenger (PBUH). Does any masjid have a music band playing softly during a lecture? Online reproductions of Islamic Lectures with humming or soft music... doesn't it come under disrespect for Almighty Allah and His Messenger (PBUH)? Please discuss this issue in your forthcoming lectures.
You hear there is no veil between Allah and the oppressed, yet you see years go by while you suffer and suffer to the point you become a complete shell, hopeless, soulless whilst the oppressor walks freely on this earth doing whatever they feel not effected by it at all. You pray and beg day in and day out for change and that change doesn’t come. To the point that when it does come or if it ever comes you have become this shadow of yourself. When all you wanted is justice for being slandered, wrongly accused, abandoned, betrayed. Allah is near right? So where was Allah when you got backed into a dark, dark place for years begging and begging Allah for help. For relief of being wronged, a wrong that flips your life upside down. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajioon.
