Triana _ Rito y Geografïa del cante Flamenco _ English subtitles 

This is an amazing series of historic programmes about flamenco music. It's great to have the English subtitles but they can sometimes be misleading. At the start of this programme Jose Maria Velázquez-Gaztelu is shown as stating that "a period of decadence had already begun a long time ago". He uses the word "decadencia" but I think this is better interpreted as "decline" or "dissipation". The word "decadence" has a pejorative connotation that I doubt was intended. This is not meant to be critical. I am extremely grateful that I can now better understand the context of what takes place in these programmes.
