Another cover of a song from a game that came out this year-- this time from the amazing soundtrack of Triangle Strategy! This theme, despite it's beautiful and haunting melody, is the theme of the Roselle-- a people who supposedly forsook the goddess and are forced to atone through endless servitude. As a result, I felt like this ironic twist was perfect for a slow, melancholy jazz cover! I ended up settling on a small instrumentation of trumpet, piano, bass, and strings with a seemingly unstable time signature that keeps the piece moving forward. This is also my entry to Soundole's Chill Out 2022 cover contest!
