Sir in method triangulation..... questionnaire+ interview both are conducted on same sample ......or questionnaire should be filled by 60 teachers(sample) then interview will be conducted on another (50-60 teachers ) I wanna know can be collect data by both method ( questionnaire+ interview) from same 60 sample of teachers
Generally, questionnaire is used for quantitative data for which you need a larger sample. On the other hand interview is used for qualitative data which is generally in text form. So it usually difficult to collect qualitative data from a larger sample. Therefore, you can conduct interviews with a smaller number of respondents i.e. 10-15. This is generally sufficient for data saturation.
@@shivansh1831 That depends on the aims of your research and the expertise or relevance of your questionnaire sample. But generally, if you want to collect data from the same kind of people, then Yes.
Very informative and helpful. Sir I am using quantitative research method (Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) + AMOS tool) for my PhD analysis but my supervisor ask me to use qualitative as well, but I have very short time to complete my PhD, So what do you recommend? Thanks a lot
