35-year-old Manashe, born in a tribal family in Maniur's Churachandpur, embraced Judaism and migrated to Israel. Now, like many other Israeli soldiers, he is fighting the war with Hamas in Gaza. He belongs to a community called Bnae Menashe which has strong roots in northeast India. Over 5,000 Bnae Menashe have tribals migrated to Israel over the last two decades. Their relationship with Israel goes back thousands of years, a bond that stems from shared Jewish history.

If that's the logic, then half of Meitei should go to Bangladesh and rest to Myanmar! Kuki-Zo are not demanding an independence from India, their demand is within the ambit of the constitution and rightly so as they and the majority Meitei in Manipur are already seperated geographically and physically, now only admintrative seperation is pending which I'm sure will be granted looking at the ground realities.
