This project was produced under the terms of a Memorandum of Agreement, pursuant to Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, among the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), State Historical Society of Iowa, Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Combined Lake Delhi Recreational Facility and Water Quality District, and University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist to mitigate the unintended destruction of archaeological deposits in Delaware County, Iowa. FEMA administered Federal disaster assistance through FEMA's Public Assistance Program pursuant to the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act for declared disaster 1763-DR-IA.
