Wish you’d have looked it up and explained it to them. Should have told/shown them where Ireland is and that this is for Eurovision 1994, and do they not have the word river in their language? And should have told them Riverdance is the name of the legendary Irish dancing dance group, it’s not a River Dance, a dance having to do with the river… because that gave them the wrong idea… And no, you don’t have to be a gymnast, there’s no gymnastics in it, and it is partly tap dancing, yes, and of course “everyone in the group has the same dance style”, they are Irish dancers and have a synchronised coordinated choreography, it was made that way and it’s how it is (: the main pair choreographed it too. And they’re not there just for them but for the whole Eurovision show. And not a studio…
It would be funny if you only get permission to date an Irish girl if you perform this dance with less than 5% error margin in front of the parents. Also if you dance like this in public, you don't have to obey any traffic laws and when entering a pub like this you get a free pint of Guiness. xD

It gave him mussels in his legs and his lungs. He celebrates touch down with an Irish dance. The show has toured the world many times Presidents request tickets to see it. It's simple Irish dancing children learn. The boys who stick with it get their reward at puberty. For every 10 girls thar dance at 15 years there is only about 2 boys still dancing. arn
A truly amazing group of performers that we in the U.K. are truly proud of. Please, producer, get a world globe so you can point out to them the different cultures presented to them, it would help their understanding so much.
