I would love to see you do a video in which they try Sonoran Mexican food. I did my university studies at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, where I was introduced to this very special cuisine. In fact, it's so remarkable that UNESCO declared Tucson a world culinary heritage city (or something like that).

Yes, burritos in California are the everyday all-day type of food! You are right, mama Mustafa. You can walk, talk, and eat your burrito when you hang out with friends 😅. Burritos are actually not found in Mexico, which is California's neighbor to the South. It is a purely American thing, and I remember you guys really liked Mexican food 😊. Normally a burrito is a large warm flour tortilla filled with Mexican style food like seasoned meat, chicken, lettuce, cheese, beans, tomatoes and of course some spicy hot sauce 😊. In California they use anything they like, there are no rules! I like mine with avocadoes, cilantro (coriander), and onions. In Mexico, they have taquitos which are smaller around and usually just made with meat or beans or both. These are fried quickly in oil and are crunchy and tasty as well 👍🏽. You can make a burrito using whatever ingredients you want, as large as you want! My favorite is breakfast burritos with eggs mixed with a Mexican sausage called chorizo, hot sauce (called chile) that I make myself, some sour cream and of course, as Manzoor bhai correctly pointed out, cheese 😂. It's always so good to see you guys together though I do not see Ismail bhai 😕, maybe next time! I hope we get some more videos in future, but for now, please take care, and please be safe! on the tortillas and roti thing, folk might get a kick out of this: so I have an indian coworker and her son was always begging her to make samosa and she never had the time. So one day we got together and just made burritos with the samosa filling, and the kid likes them even more. It eventually led to making samosa quesadillas. basically it's awesome how food is food and we can mix and match the things we pick up from each other

In northern states like wisconsin and minnesota and north dakota; many of us eat lots of lefse. I am too lazy to make it myself most the time so I buy it from my local bakery but they sell it in all the walmarts and super stores around as well. I know it is a Norwegian flat bread by tradition; but that is where lots of our heritage is where I am from. It would be great to see some of them try it with butter and sugar like we always did as children.

There's another kind of flatbread in America that I'd like to see them try. Well, not exactly flat because it puffs up a little when cooked. It would be great if you could give them Indian fry bread. You could make Navajo tacos for them to eat. A true Native American treat.

Reactistan - I live in California , and I never herd of a California Burrito. proper Burrito is made with Tortilla , seasoned Rice , Beans , meat, Cheese or Sour Cream, Grilled vegetables or Pico de Gallio. its never served w/ ketchup .

It would be nice if they were given the name of the food in the original language and then a description of it in their language, much like the menu description in restaurants. Love y'all!!

Please let Mehboob know we Americans eat Roti, naan, paratha, sometimes stuffed, sometimes not. but we have India/Indians living here, Pakistani's, and if not all/every nationality... it's nearly all. So we are blessed to eat all the best foods, because our neighbors share their cuisines with us, and we with them.

I am from San Diego in California, the home of the "California Burrito"...I have to say pineapple has never ever ever been part of a Cali burrito I have ever eaten. It might be delicious, but not a California Burrito. The traditional cali burrito has: carne asada(marinated grilled beef), thin cut french fried potatoes, spicy mexican pico de gallo, hot salsa, (both which are a kind of chutney but not pickled), guacamole (avocado based sauce), and sometimes cheese all wrapped up in a wheat based tortilla (a basic "roti"). Rice cooked mexican style is rare, and also rarely we have beans. I would eat a variant that included pineapple and grilled chicken but it wouldn't be a proper California Burrito. Maybe a "Lahore burrito"-- I bet it would be delicious! The best type of California Burrito is the "2 in 1" which is the burrito mentioned above, but also includes two rolled tacos(spiced beef rolled up into corn rotis and deep fried). Guaranteed cardiac problems in one lunch order.

Not a California burrito. Should have carne asada, grilled onions and chiles, french fries, pico de gallo, guacamole, maybe rice, NO BEANS, cheese, and either red or green salsa to pour on each bite. These burritos are everywhere here in San Diego and I grew up eating them, but I have NEVER seen pineapple in a California burrito

That is a Wrap, noT a Cali burrito 🌯 and you've got to put either steak, chicken or beef along with white rice, pico de Gallo, (refried) or black/pinto beans, cilantro, lettuce, sour cream, avocado and cheese in HUGE, steamed rolled tortilla in order for it to be the Real thing!!! 🌯 P.S. It was nice to see all the familiar faces enjoying a good American dish. California is indeed a beautiful state, but the tax rate is very high and the government management of underprivileged people such as homeless, drug addicts and unemployed is very bad. Inner cities are plagued with vagrants living on the sidewalks in tents and violence despite strict gun restrictions and city ordinances. It’s very sad to see such a wonderful state felled by mismanagement.
