It's a well-planned channel. Great production value (including subtitles), excellent guests, and they actually pay a chef to cook what they serve from what I understand. Most other tribal reaction channels just hand over prepackaged food to their guests or they have terrible English subtitles- Reactistan goes above and beyond.

I live in Puerto Rico and am such a huge fan of this channel. I'd be so anxious about their reactions trying mofongo or some other local food, that I wouldn't dare to watch that episode lol. The food we eat here in PR is very different from what they eat in Pakistan, I don't think they even know what a plantain is, they probably wouldn't like it 😭

Me too. Wish the foods they chose were less bland tho. Turkish lentil soup, from any region, is amazing! With a squeeze of fresh lemon and heaps of traditional sourdough bread. One of the best breakfasts in the world!

As a vegan for 10+ years, and a vegetarian for 22 years before that, I eat a lot of South Asian, Turkish, Middle Eastern, Far East Asian, West and North African, S.E. Asian, Spanish, and Mexican food. It's always packed with spices and flavour; even my falafels have spicy patties, pickled turnips, and hot sauce. My diet has more variety than those friends of mine who eat meat, milk and eggs. I have never eaten zucchini/ courgette noodles (but love flour noodles). Perhaps those who think vegans are weak should watch the movie, "The Game Changers" (or at least the preview). We are strong, we live longer, and we have fewer disabilities from poor health than those who eat meat.

A Vegan was describing her diet to me and she said: “No Face, No Mama - if it comes from a source that has face or a mother, we don’t eat it”. So basically it’s completely plant based diet. All food is a gift from God. 🙏🏻❤️

@@Russell970 it is Levantine and Egyptian of uncertain origin, the earliest recipies that resemble it come from 13th century Egypt. The earliest written account of Falafel is in Egypt in the 19th century. Though it is thought to go back centuries, it also may be related to simular Indian dishes.
