TriBeCa VS Greenwich Village by Bond No. 9: WHICH ONE IS FOR YOU? FULL REVIEW AND COMPARISON 

I have both and Greenwich Village smells so good for spring/Summer. It makes me feel happy and uplifted 😊 it’s def my signature scent.

I love them about equally. I don't get BR540 too much with either. And it's good that they're so different. Like you said, Tribeca is more cool weather(I get a cacao/hazelnut/woody mix) and Greenwich is more spring/summer(for me a almost marine pineapple praline tropical vibe).

I bought greenwich bc i loved it at first sniff. But i received a sample of tribeca..and man i may love it more bc im a sucker for creamy

Love Tribeca! I sampled it first, had to get a full bottle. Sampled Greenwich Village too, but I’m not sold on it yet. 🤔

I think you summed it up so well and I love both! My daughter lives in Manhattan and her first apartment was in Tribeca so I naturally have a soft spot for it but I'd think they're both gorgeous! They're on my wish list.

I am on my second bottle of ALT Perfumes version of GV called Gables. Would love to have the real thing. It is so expensive. This is in my top four favorites for life. Nothing compares. I am one who doesn’t love BR 540, just likes. But, GV is beyond! I sometimes layer with Lancôme Oud Bouquet. Holy Bliss. My other top two are Mon Paris, a strawberry champagne feminine delight and a tie between Hermes Twilly and Coco by Chanel, (not Coco Noir). I really like Tribeca and think I could switch over for a while when I OD on GV! Tribeca has a little zing to it I love! Thank you, Marie 🌸

I love Greenwich village in the body silk, it’s a light scent though. I’m sad tribeca don’t come in body silk, it was more nutty on my skin and I love it

Hello beautiful Marie! I had Greenwich Village for over a year now and it’s interesting how I don’t pick up any resemblance to BR 540 anymore lol. I recently hauled Tribeca and I am obsessed. Love them both. I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on these 💖💖

Hi Maria, funny I’ve been wearing Bond No 9 for years (I live in NY) My favorite is Scent of Peace and the Saks fifth ave editions! I also love West Side is my fave for fall. I’m so glad these are getting talked about again!

For some reason I can rarely smell Tribeca. I constantly wear BR540 these days so maybe that’s why?

Tribeca only smells ever so slightly like BR540 in the opening, with some cacao, but Greenwich Village smells nothing like BR540 what so ever. Maybe just cause it's airy?!?? How come we didn't see you spray them?

I have GV but am I the only one that feels it has a medicinal smell as well?

I couldn't do absolution because of that dishwater musk smell. I really with that wasn't what I got. Tribeca doesn't have that. I have absolutio to my son he loves it

I tryed to sample Baccarat Rouge a while back but it smelled foul! It must have gone bad and then was left to sit that way for a long time. It didn't smell like any kind of perfume LOL So I have no idea what Baccarat Rouge smells like. Greenwich Village is my favorite Manhattan neighborhood. I can't afford that perfume though.

I have Tribeca I would have went for Greenwich but there was a dirty musk in the drydown. I'm super sensitive to some musks and it gives them a dirty dishwater vibe. Ruins so many good ones or me. I've thought about trying whispers of truth from House of Sillage it's supposed to be a bright bacarat type fragrance.
