Every speaker seems to use different volume curves. The mega seemed to not get much louder from 60 to 80 percent, while is made a huge difference on the flow. I prefer having more volume increments, especially for low level listening.
Yeah, you would think Tribit would be more consistent in their volume output across the range. While the Flow is a little less powerful, it picks up quite a bit more volume higher in range than lower. This would more than likely translate into more battery consumption since you would probably be running it at a higher volume level a lot of the time. At 10%-20% the XSound Mega volume is low and can get so low you can barely hear it. Best of both worlds with the XSound Mega, IMO.
Oh yeah in this comparison the flow was stomped. But i think it's designed to be like a more travel friendly and hiking speaker. Something you can throw into your carry on bag for a flight or take to a hotel ect. At least thats what the bose flex was aimed at and the flow is a direct rip off so i think it does a pretty good job. But yeah if you start comparing it to bigger speakers its gonna lose everytime
It's not like the XSound Mega is THAT much bigger. The Flow is a little thinner than the Mega. I've actually taken the XSound mega to a hotel...lol. Bottom line is the Flow and the Soundcore Motion 300 are trying to copy the success of the Bose Soundlink Flex style.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews absolutely agree. I've just looked and lookes like they have phased out the mega here in the UK 😢 probably because of this exact reason
Yeah, that should be next on the list. I think the Motion 300 makes more sense with this copy-cat style of speaker, what with it actually being a stereo speaker with a sensor built in to change the sound based on how the speaker is oriented.
Mega it's the lasts spiker from tribit use TI amplifier TPA3128D2 very powerful amp use in jbl charge 4 and 5 and some revision xtrime 2 and 3 cus the amp more modern and efficient then TPA3116 original xtrime use... idk why tribit didn't support software for mega it's very good and capable spiker and the only spiker that charger my phone without need to turning on the spiker😂
Remember that the pro is a 360 so the bass is not the same as the mega coz its pumping the bass towards you so the diff in bass is visible but i like the pro as its more ear friendly than the mega when you are near the speaker
@@anijamed I did a video along time ago featuring the Stormbox Pro and the Earfun Uboom, so check that out if you want. The Stormbox Pro is pretty good overall and the design is similar to the Tronsmart T7, which also has 2 side firing speakers and a down-firing woofer.
