Awesome video! I’ve loved the CT River and specifically the salmon river all my life. Many people don’t realize the tremendous beauty and importance of this system in our own backyards, and the importance of it. Thank you, whoever the producers are, for helping share this gem that we have here in Connecticut

This was a great watch. Thank you guys for all the work you do with these amazing rivers Including this documentary. My one little Nick pick as a New Hartford man Is starting in canton That's right where the wild and scenic designated portion of the river ends, The upper section is some of the most beautiful portions the river Has to offer I may be a little Bias anyway You guys did a great job of representing the farmington and every other tributary of the Connecticut thank you guys again for everything you do.

I grew up with salmon river literally a mile as the crow flies with rope swings in summertime. Amazing to see all the old foundations from colonial times and remnants of gristmill w/ water shutes and big stones that held the axle. Where Jeramy ,and black ledge rivers Meet we call two rivers , there was a great beach there with rope swings . Befor cellphones & computers that was our meeting spot to fish, swim, hike, and be with friends. Wonderful area to grow up, I feel especially blessed and fortunate. Now I take the kids there.

I remember the flood of 81 or 82 that washed out the old iron bridge than spanned the salmon river and when you go tubing after a rain be careful because parts of that bridge are still scattered down stream, jagged and twisted waiting for that complacent individual unaware dangers exist in wild rivers.
