Als ich auf die Welt kam, war diese goldene Ära fast vorbei. ('93). Aber mit diesem Video als Zeitmaschine ist man trotzdem dort, als wäre es gestern gewesen. Jetzt mit fast 31 wäre ich manchmal genau zu jener Zeit gerne in meinem jetzigen Alter gewesen.
Ford Sierra, Opel Omega, BMW M3 (E30), Mercedes 190 E 2.5-16 EVO I bzw. II, Alfa Romeo 155. Bis zu 2,5 Liter und alles Sauger. Sowas wird nie wieder kommen. Ich durfte sowas noch miterleben wie den alten Hockenheimring mit Bremsschikane. Auch die 46 auf einem Zweitakter....., einen fast unbekannten Michael in einem grünen Auto.....

Begeisternde Bilder aus einer Zeit als es noch Tourenwagen gab - auf der Rennstrecke und auf der Straße . Nachdem das autofahrende Volk lieber höhergelegte Panzer genannt SUV bevorzugte war diese schöne Ära vorbei .
Nein das würde ich so nicht unterschreiben. Es gibt immer noch Perlen die von Liebhabern geschätzt werden. Sei es ein Focus RS ein Yaris GR oder M2.... Der Mainstream hat sich schon früher nicht für solche Autos interessiert. Die sind Anfang der 90er mit ihrem Audi80 1,9TDI glücklich gewesen.

Eu também, pena que durou pouco, e a qualidade de imagem era uma porcaria, fora que eram só compactos de corrida. Edgar daria de 10 a 0 no Galvão Bueno para narrar F1 ou qualquer corrida, até porque ele já foi piloto. O jeito irônico que ele narrava eram bom demais. Quando a ultrapassagem era apertada ele falava "no alicate!".

I agree, I think what made DTM so great is that the cars could be reasonably purchased by almost anyone. Even if you were buying a standard 316i or 190e 1.8, it would have been cool to see "your car" being driven by a madman.
I find it so stupid that modern gt racing has supercars. Detuned supercars. Gt racing is about grand tourers, about cars that everyone can buy. Also, i feel like the racing cars are a bit too different to their profuction counterparts. Racing upgrades should be kept to a minimal. That's why we don't see pieces of art chassis like the e30 or the e190 anymore. Because the racing car gets very big chassis and suspension upgrades and most roadcars don't get too much serious track time anyway, plus people will always assume a certain car brand drives good, no matter if it does or not.
