I remember serving the Air Force in 1980 over at RAF Bentwaters and watching Eric Bristowe on TV. That’s when I started to learn the game of darts. Thank you Eric for influencing many of us Yankees from America.

You become aware of your own mortality when your childhood heroes and villans are gone, I'm from kirkcaldy so was a jocky Wilson supporter growing up and loved to hate Bristow. ..they are both gone and the world is a poorer place for it...rest in peace fellas
