A tribute to Achilles, the greatest warrior who ever lived and his victory over Hektor prince of troy I DO NOT OWN THIS CONTENT, NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED
Basically, here's the show of badassery Achilles displayed in his last hour. As he was about to literally barge into Troy, Apollo shows up and he tells him that it's not written for him to ever enter Troy. Achilles as he was in the heat of battle and ready to enter, tells the *god of the sun* to move away before he spears him. Apollo just leaves and goes to Paris and directs his arrow straight into Achilles' heel. As he knows he's about to die, he tries to take down every Trojan he could find, taking them by the dozens. So, in summary, in his last moments on Earth, Achilles threatens a freaking god, he makes him go away, and as soon as he realizes he'd die, he starts laying waste on whoever had the audacity to breathe around him. Now, if that's not a badass way to go out, I don't know what is.
P.S. THERE ARE MANY FACETS TO ACHILLES' CHARACTER/ PERSONALITY; ACTOR BRAD PITT AND THIS FILM DO A SUPERB JOB WORKING WITH THEM TO PUT SOMETHING TOGETHER THAT IS A TRUE MASTERPIECE.
Swift-footed Achilles, son of Peleus and commander of the Myrmidons; regarded as one of the greatest warriors of the Trojan War. Slayed Hektor, prince of Troy. Was himself later killed when an arrow guided by Apollon, struck his heel.
Great video, Achilles is the greatest warior ever, and he is so complex and I really respect him as a man as I respect him as a warrior. By the way the song is Protectors of the Earth by Nick Phoenix and Thomas Bergersen :-D
A suitable end to a legend, I think he knew what was coming for him but decided to do it anyway, tha mark of a true legend. Of the mark here Brad Pitt in his prime was PERFECT for a greek Demigod AND EVERYONE WILL REMEBER HIS NAME
Achilles was in a war so killing is normal but he disaproved Hector's right to kill Patroclus and He(Achilles) did the same thing condemning the same thing he condemned.
+Alan Robert Guiraldino He didn't disapprove, he just got pissed. Wouldn't you, despite having killed before? It makes more sense in the story, because in the actual poem not only does Hector kill Patroclus, he also claims Achilles' armor and weapons from his body.
Achilles knew that he was almost immortal because only his talon could be wounded mortally. Instead, Hector was a man that could die in every moment if wounded. When he goes to fight against Achilles, he knows that he will die but he doesn't refuse to fight. So, for me, Hector is the real hero.
@alex phillips well i dont know how making a tribute to a famed hollywood film means i dont know anything about history, but if you are arguing the fact that achillies is not the greatest warrior, then your arguing with homer the greek poet who wrote the illiad, and states that achillies and his myrmidons were the FINEST warriors in all of greece, so yeah take it up with him.
Alan Robert Guiraldino Actually, Michael would be; y'know, the angel who actually led the other loyalists in the First War. God never entered into battle.
Alan Robert Guiraldino if you are referring to Jevoah, that coward is a destroyer not a warrior. In fact no Christian will ever beat a Greek or Norse. The greatest warriors is Achilles, Hector, Odin, and Ivar the boneless, not Christ, Jevoah or his angels.
Michael Is Jesus Christ, Son of God. Notice how Daniel calls Michael that "Great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people (there is only One who stands as our advocate in heaven before the Father, and that's the Son of God Himself) Danield also says in chapter 12 that Michael the arch (head of) the angels will appear and the dead will be raised, and also how Paul says that the lord will descend with the voice of the Arch angel and raise the dead....and then put it all together with what Jesus says Who's voice the dead will hear in John 5:25: "Very truly I tell you, the time is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear will live" (apparently the voice of Michael the arch angel and the voice of the Son of God, are One and the Same) There is only One Son of God, and that is Jesus Christ. Except in the old testament before His incarnation, His name Was Not Jesus but Michael, head of the angels, showing how Jesus has Always been, even before His incarnation, the "Councilor, Mighty God, Ever-lasting Father, the Prince of Peace." There was never any literal war in heaven, because Jesus is the Son of God, the Creator of Heaven and earth, Far Higher in power than Any angel including Satan, for from Him flowed/flows all the life and energy manifested in the Universe. To think that Michael/Jesus would have to stoop so low as to do physical battle with Satan and his confederate angels, when He (Jesus) could banish Satan with One Word, Just like after His incarnation on earth when He ultimately banished Satan from Him after the temptation in the wilderness by simply saying"Get behind me Satan....", or when confronted by Demon (fallen angel) possessed individuals, said simply "Come out of him" and ordered the demons to remain silent....that is simply unbelievable. No friend, that war in heaven spoken about in Revelations 12 was a war of words and ideals....Jesus Christ and the angels loyal to Him resisting the influences of Satan and his cohorts who were falsely accusing God and Christ, and actively trying to draw more of the loyal angels onto Satan's side. So, yes, you are right that God never entered into Physical battle....
"if you are referring to Jevoah, that coward is a destroyer not a warrior. " Please be careful, because that "coward and destroyer" is the Only One who protects you from All the dangers (on the job, on the highways, while you sleep etc) Satan can throw at you to kill you. Remember, his name is Satan (the adversary of God and man) for a reason, and he is constantly looking out for ways to kill and hurt us human beings....and in fact, he would have wiped us out Long ago if it wasn't for shield presence of Jehovah God Constantly protecting us from his wiles and cunning. Satans Number One objective has Always been to misrepresent the character of God/Jesus (Jesus Is Jehovah) before men and angels, painting our Loving, Righteous Father as a cruel tyrant who tortures and plays with men. Jesus in John 17 "Oh Righteous Father, the World hath Not known you, but I have known You...." And John 1 says "and no one has seen God at anytime....the only begotten Son in the bossum of the Father, He has declared Him. " Meaning, that Jesus throughout His whole life acted as Jehovah would have acted, literally showing us the True character of God: Merciful, gracious, slow to anger, eager and ready to forgive sins, long-suffering, bearing all things, Full of love and pity toward the helpless and those who were held captive under Satan's power.

Even Zeus finding Achilles "better" than Hector. I like more Hector than Achilles because Hector fights against suffering. And now I leave a question here, For what Achilles did fight?
It's stupid. Also when you study Greek HISTORY you study MYTHOLOGY. If Achilles was so great how come he didn't ride back to Greece with Odysseus? Oh cause he took an arrow to the heel and died.
Achilles's mother, Thetis, took him when he was young and bathed him in a magical lake so he becomes immortal but his heel didnt toutch the water cause of her grabbing him from there. This way, his heel was the only vulnerable spot.Thats how mythology explains it. Now, there are many other greek historical facts u have never read witch refer to reality and not mythology. So obviously you have not read a book in your life, get your silly kido ass out and never catch any word that refers to greek history in your mouth again.
