The Album is called DarkThrone - Holy DarkThrone - Eight Norwehian Bands Playing Tribute. (FOG 018, 1998) Thats the original release of this track. obvoiusly you saw it on another CD that was released in 2008. : D Thank you, and have a nice day.
I'm actually certain that Fenriz has stated this cover of the original Dark Throne track is actually his favourite.....quit the hatred folks....... learn the history of this band and enjoy....
This is how a COVER must be sound!!! Not really the same song with another vocals o faster or slower, it's about experimentation and add new sounds to an old sound!!!
Yep. But the point was still the same. That it wasn't released "15 years [ago] or more" in 2011 (i.e. 1996) as he originally wrote. It came out late 1998 like he later pointed out.
Unholy crap, Thorn's covers are so twisted and mechanic! Just listen to "Comic Keys" from Emperor vs Thorns split! What Snorre is doing is shedding previously unseen light on black metal!
this is shit ,nothing to do with the genius of the original , like a mixture of the DVDs I own of him playing for art galleries and using the odd original structure. At least he uses his trademark guitar sound all throughout the song, to great effect specially at the end ,that part I already loved from the original played by Snorre - GREAT!
tribune to Darkthrone released in 1998, 2015 2016 younger black métal posers coming in RU-vid to say what is this shit, bla blabla ,,.... , maybe is later to wake up !!!
What ! What! Is this a bloody joke all something cuz it sounds like a complete disaster as those daft punk ideas have ruined a great song by darkthrone which had a great riff in it and this doesn't work to me not at all except for the riff which is good
