A small collection of our favorite Elaine moments from our favorite show of all time SEINFELD!!!!!! Sit back, relax and enjoy....comedy at it's best!!!
"Boy, a little too much chlorine in that gene pool!" - one of those lines that would be the star in any other show, but in Seinfeld it's just another quick bit that goes by in a second. Genius.
It’s interesting how the show is so dated yet it still holds up. It will hold up forever because human nature will never change. These characters spoke aloud the things many of us think but keep to ourselves. Seinfeld will always be relatable.
100% agree and smart Seinfeld fans know Elaine was the best cast member. Esp as the series went on. her Delivery, facial expressions. Everything. Total package.
MajellaRS SARAH SILVERMAN WOULD'VE BEEN A MILLION TIMES BETTER. SHE'S NOT AFRAID TO BE THE JOKE. JULIA TURNED DIVA AND REFUSED TO DO THE LITTLE KICKS DANCE AGAIN BECAUSE OF "THE HUMILIATION" and "PEOPLE SAY YOU CAN'T FUCK IF YOU CAN'T DANCE" yes, she said that. WATCH THE INSIDE LOOKS ON THE DVDS. THE PRODUCERS, DIRECTORS AND FELLOW ACTORS HATED WORKING WITH HER. SHE'D FORGET HER LINES OR START LAUGHING, RUINING THE SCENE AND WASTING EVERYONE'S TIME. KRAMER DESPISED WORKING WITH HER. THE PRODUCER SAID SHE CAME RUNNING INTO THEIR OFFICE DURING A MEETING IN TEARS, BLUBBERING ABOUT HOW SHE DOESN'T GET THE GOOD LINES, STORIES OR MORE CAMERA TIME. WELL, THERE'S A REASON FOR THAT; JASON, MICHAEL AND EVEN JERRY ARE BETTER ACTORS (THEN AND NOW). BUT DUMB BITCH GOT HER WAY. SO YOU SEE ELAINE STORIES DRAWN OUT AND FLUFFED WITH FILLER GARBAGE. SHE'S A TERRIBLE ACTOR AND NEVER DESERVED TO BE ON ANY TV SHOW. SHE WAS FAT AS FUCK IN SEASON 7 AND 8 AND BLATANTLY PREGNANT. THEY SUGGESTED THE STORYLINE SLOWLY TURN TO HER GETTING FATTER AND HER IMMEDIATE REACTION WAS TO BURST INTO TEARS. SHE EVEN REFUSED TO DO HER MOST FAMOUS KICK DANCING AGAIN DUE TO THE EMBARRASSMENT; SEE, NOT A TRUE ACTOR. JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS: A FUCKING UGLY HAS BEEN SOCCER MOM WITH NO COMEDIC SKILL WHATSOEVER. YOU NEARLY RUINED THE SHOW BITCH.
Sara Silverman? Are you serious? Sara Silverman isn't funny, never has been, never will be. She's just an obnoxious, nasally freak. You might as well have said Amy Schumer! They're basically the same person. Both unattractive, nasal talking, obnoxious bitches that some how got the reputation for being comedians.
@@zapkvr The meaning of linguistic terms is rooted in its actual use, the definition of a term is descriptive, not prescriptive. Read a book once in a while.
I wanted you to include the episode where she has a wrestling match with her bed sheets. I could hardly catch my breath when I saw her do that one. (What fun to be so lost in laughter! Thank you, Julia, for the unabated, relentless merriment.) And then if I tried to describe that scene to anyone else I could never hold it together long enough to explain it. Elaine rocks! Julia forever!!
"A wise man once taught me the healing power of the body's natural pressure points." (Turns to Jerry) "He sells T-shirts outside the World Trade Center."
Julia herself came up with it. She "auditioned" a few different bad dances for her mother and husband, and they unanimously voted on the dance she does in the finished episode.
Everyone keeps talking about how hot she is but can we talk about how funny she is, that facial and tonal delivery, the subtle but hilarious mannerisms like, this show wouldn't be the same without her.
I've had a kind of crush on this woman since the 90's. Of course, then she was my senior. But since she hasn't really aged in the past two decades, we're about the same age now.
I always found her mannerisms so adorable. And she’s got a sexy way about her too. Especially when she acts pathetic or frustrated. Julia is the only single actress I can think of who does that.
She’s a very physical actor and it went right up to the limits of it being believable and likable. When you watch her stunts and gags is when you really see this. She went all out.
I find it hilarious when Elaine gets super duper mad at George and George shrinks into invisibility. And the word tribute always seems to me like it's used after someone dies.
There is nothing more attractive than a woman who's pretty but isn't hung up about it and also has a sense of humor. That's why she is twice as beautiful as she otherwise would be.
I used to work in an ER, there were nurses there that had no idea about shrinkage!!! They honestly thought that all the guys they saw in the hospital were super small.
@Jeff Baker To be honest, the two I remember having this conversation were both frustratingly attractive. One was fairly mature and married so I don't know how she didn't know. The other was very... hot. Everything outside of nursing she was kind of a stereotypical babe idiot. Frankly I would very much trust her with my mother in an emergency, but with little else. I have known female doctors like that as well (not the specific shrinkage but being highly intelligent but still clueless about so much even in medicine, because they didn't have to learn about it. When you have to learn so much about such a broad subject, it is very hard to admit that lesser educated might know something worthwhile that you know nothing of. Typically today, it is the nurses that are more arrogant than doctors. Medical schools are hammering their students about being humble. Obviously this is just my experience, but the worst were the very senior nurses that honestly had earned respect but still never felt they got enough respect, no matter how much they were respected, if this makes sense? Nurses run hospitals not doctors. The only doctors that were really difficult were some of the young foreign (especially female) ones. I don't think they wanted to be though of as nurses! BTW my experience is an EMT, wilderness expedition medic, later military combat medic, Nurse and old ass Med Student.
A melhor série cómica dos anos 80, todos eles são brilhantes, adoráveis nas suas neuroses e manias. A Elaine no meio deles, tão feminina e engenhosa, é perfeita!!!
I was in a music store listening to a guy slapping a bass. Some time later I heard a TV playing a slap type base sound. It was Seinfeld! Turned out to be a pretty good show.
The craziest part is that these clips aren't the only funny parts of the show. These hilarious skits were continually weaved throughout the entire series. It was a one of a kind show; Larry David and Seinfeld knew how to engage their audience in a smart sophisticated way.
I loved how there were evil, malevolent characters and businesses that refused to help anybody. Like that Chinese takeout with the flounder - street discrimination to the point of returning money and taking back food. Or the guy who wouldn't let Kramer dump muffin stumps. Always made for great characters!
Julia Louis dreyfuss is the best comic actress in tv hist. Lucy was great at physical comedy and Mary Tyler Moore's character was richly written. But Elaine benes was consistently hilarious every week.
Everyone was perfectly cast in this American classic, but Julia L-D shined with an extra bit of comic radiance as Elaine. And, yes, she was a babe in her NewYork way.
