On location with Pierce Brosnan and Floyd Westerman. This film is dedicated to the late Floyd Red Crow Westerman, a personal friend to the Mohawk people. Produced by Jerry Mcdonald.
i never met this man but i surely loved his wisdom and what he gave to his people.. RIP FLOYD CROW WESTERMAN.. you were a great leader for your people!!! america needs more men like you!!!
God bless all the natives and first nations I have only recently learned of this beautiful great Man. May his spirit live on . Im an Irish Geal and our people have also suffered my peoples clan were deceived and tricked to their slaughter at the infamous massacre of Mullaghmast 1577. I was born many miles away from the site of this massacre yet driving past as a young man i seen visions and pulled the car over a local farmer asked if i need help i explained what i had seen he asked me my surname and his face went white as snow when i replied he then took me about 20 years to the very place .
It is very moving to find all these tribute videos to my late dear friend Floyd. I have missed the good times we have had on the road together, listening to his songs and sharing our stories. And I am glad that some others who may never have heard him have this chance to hear the breadth of his wisdom and the greatness of his heart.
i have watched this video many many times.. I still get goose bumps and I get a deep feeling in my soul for the natives in this country. the chanting along with the dancing is fabulous!!
This is on the set of 'Grey Owl' (1999), with Irish actor Pierce Brosnan playing an Englishman who came to Canada (northern Ontario) and so admired 'Indians' that he learned enough to pass.
RIP Grandfather, Thank you for sharing your stories, your wisdom and your culture with the world. You will be missed by many till we meet again on the blue road.

I love this man, I look at this guys videos and I cry because of all the injustice the Indigenous Americans suffered. I am not going to deny that some tribes brought demise among their own people, but I would like to extend my support to present day Native Americans, for there barely any left.....
I never met him however hearing his words just in movies I could feel the spririt and his understanding. Born American but heart and blood Native of all my brothers.
Hi, i have only just heard of him a few mounths back. It sadens me to think i can never meet him. But hes words and spirit lives on. Love and Respect Emma
If we all would thought the way he did - world would be much better place to live and people wouldn't sort others for their skin color. iIndian people are with so tender hurts that it costs them so much...
Good job, combining the music, dancing and footage of Floyd in the mix. . Nice words also. Thank you for doing this for us. Tasina Ska Win aka Lakota Harden
