Isaac Freeman passed on October 16, 2012. "Dickie," as he was known by those close to him, was one of the most profound bass singers of 20th Century American popular music. Most of his career was spent anchoring the a cappella gospel quartet the Fairfield Four of Nashville, TN. In addition to GRAMMY-winning albums with the Four on the Warner Brothers label and an appearance in the film O Brother Where Art Thou, Freeman also recorded a solo album, BEAUTIFUL STARS (Lost Highway Records), the title track featured here. The CD was produced by Kieran Kane and Jerry Zolten under the auspices of Dead Reckoning Productions. Credits appear at the end.
