I earned my first SOBHD medals in Saskatoon 1958' James L was the adjudicator ,he gave a workshop ,invited me to the Gaelic College ,in 1962 (for 18 months )i journeyed to Aberdeen,7 Belmont street ,eight hour days of lessons and lots and lots of practice.Wednesdays and Sunday's off
It is good to see Scottish men wear kilts. It is very rare. I would see men of the Irish culture wear their kilts any more. All of you men have done a wonderful job performing on stage. Congratulations!!!
I studied with James L. at the Gaelic College in 1973, the last year he taught there. He was quite a gentleman. It is good to see the Tribute being danced by new generations of dancers.
