We lost a legend in the game accessibility community yesterday. Brandon Cole, aka SuperBlindMan, impacted so many people through his consulting work, streams, and overall personality. In this video, I share some of my favorite memories of working with Brandon, and how he impacted the game accessibility community.
You can also follow Brandon's RU-vid channel yere. If you are interested in game accessibility at all, I highly recommend learning from his work here:

he will be missed... Even though I didn't always agree with him, there's no doubt he's done a ton for us and is one of the most worthy of respect in our community. I only hope his legacy lives on and we continue to see massive accessibility improvements for many years to come. May he finally be able to rest in peace and his memory continue to live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him well.

Rest in peace, my friend Brandon, and thank you for putting it out there, Jesse. He was a great lad, did a lot for accessibility and we owe him a great debt.

I was really shocked when I found out. But I am sure he is in a peaceful place now. I did not know him very well, but I did know that his efforts to advocate for accessibility were very significant, and really impacted a lot of people. We’ll miss you

He was an absolute legend. Rest in eternal peace. His inspiration has made me want to start my own twitch streaming content creating career and itself and I’m trying to do as much homework as I can to ask around on how streaming works how the software works how really everything works to be honest as I’m really new to this sort of side project, I’m mainly passionate at music and have pursued Music ever since I was a little boy so if I can try and do anything to continue the fight for accessibility would love to become a content creator at twitch streamer for everyone to enjoy

Hey Jesse. I've been watching both your channel as well as Brandon's and Liams for years and I always thought it would be cool to get into streaming and consultant stuff but I wouldn't know where to start, and I'm almost certain people wouldn't watch sense I'd be covering all the same stuff as everyone else. But I know if I asked Brandon if I should do it he would've given me a definite yes. Others have even said I should. But back to Brandon: the best way I can sum this up is by stealing lyrics from Billie Joel. "Only the good die young."

I just wish He would’ve told me why he didn’t like my ass. I don’t know what I did or said, the first time I ever heard about him was when somebody told me he was saying bad things about me on a podcast. I was shocked. I couldn’t understand how someone could dislike someone else they’ve never even met or had a conversation with I asked him about it one time. he denied it. He never reached out to me to prove otherwise even when I tried to reach out to him. I’m sure someday I’ll get an answer from him someday. I think it would have been nice to at least be friendly acquaintances in this lifetime. I forgave him a long time ago and never thought about it till I heard he passed away. What is shame. Thank you Brandon for what you’ve done for our community. I’ll try to carry the torch just like everyone else will. Namaste.

Were you one of the people that was involved in the gold gun project? Because if you were I'm pretty sure I know why
