Thanks for the supportive reply. Initially it was a devastating loss... but after some reflection I realized that was only for my own selfish needs. When ever I leave the house I take that harness he is wearing with me and ask if he wants to go for a ride? You don't have to ask him twice.... He's ready..... and so Trooper, along with my other, as I refer to them, boyz, I sense are always at my side... looking after me and loving me right back. Peace 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hi, My ❤ goes out to you and your family about Croce's loss. Yes, they even look very similar... lovely job of putting the video, aptly named, together. 👍 I'm sure that Croce is smiling down at you from Heaven. We adopted Trooper from Southeastern Guide Dogs but he wasn't officially a guide dog either. They told us he was going to develop dysplasia in his front elbows when he got older.... but thank God that never developed. Well, no, there's one difference. When Trooper brought us his bowl it meant he wanted more food 😂. .... but I noticed that Croce had a good sniffer 👃 on him too.... I would tell people that if we hadn't taken Trooper he would have been an excellent candidate for the ATF... 😉 :lol: My sister would often say to people that when she came back in the next life she wanted to come back as one of my dogs..... I tried to spoil each and every one of them, starting with Muffin, a Lab/Springer Spaniel mix) who is also Eulogized in one of my videos. I never had any children, so to me, they were boys, boyz... as I would refer to them. Each one of them was very special.... and I thank God for allowing all of them to be a part of my life. Croce probably brought the food dishes to us in anticipation of the praise and love we offered him - well, maybe it was more about the treat that was involved (not sure). Looking forward to watching your Muffin video! -Dean

Hi @johnnmetsu4153. I appreciate your sentiment, however I created the videos as a Tribute to Trooper's life, not for mourning his passing. I choose to remember all the good times we had together and hope that the videos are portraying that affection. Peace 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
