I'm so happy to finally be able to upload this. I am totally baffled by the sheer amount of time and effort put in by every single animator in this MAP. Well done everyone! I've never seen anything quite like it in the Warriors animation community, and I could not ask for a better finished product. We've got a great fandom going on.
This video is supposed to serve as a "trailer" for the Warriors book series by Erin Hunter. It focuses on many important aspects of clan life, and introduces the viewer to the themes and mood of the series. The video is essentially spoiler-free, as many of the cats are nondescript stand-ins. This is a collaboration between around 22 amateur animators!
The song is Untitled #2 by Ty Segall.
The voices are taken from the official Warrior Cats website's "make your own trailer" feature, and the commercial for Warriors: The Ultimate Guide. About halfway into editing, I decided they'd add a little something to the project.
The MAP's second part (technically "part 1", cause Ashie Animation's part was the Intro) was done ridiculously quickly, so it may look a little rough. Someone dropped out at the very last minute, and I had promised I'd have the video up before the day was over. Appletail TV, Senpuppy and I all did a bit of the part, and it took us 3 hours from start to finish.
