Tributes to Richard Floyd 

The Texas Treasures Concert of the Austin Symphonic Band honored Richard Floyd who was Music Director of ASB for 35 years, from 1986 to 2021. Mr. Floyd was named Music Director Emeritus during the concert and was greeted with video tributes during the concert by Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser, Maestro Peter Bay, Dr. Brad Kent, Dr. Frank Ticheli, and Alison Alter, Austin City Council, who announced that the City of Austin proclaimed April 23, 2023 as Richard Floyd Tribute Day.These are those video tributes as shown during the concert.
