A good random pick for you folks today is this tune which peaked at #90 in early 1981. Tricia had 3 charting Billboard singles, and this was the 2nd one to do so. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the lady. Maybe someone out there does! Enjoy!

Jay, I think Tricia Johns started out as a pop singer in Los Angeles. Prior to her country singles deal with Elektra Records, she also had a singles contract with Warner Brothers Records. I know she cut her WB pop single The Heat is On, in L.A., and I think it was produced by a British producer. Hope some of this will be of interest to some of your listeners. I also hope you're doing well, Jay.

The third one (which I've been looking for in vain all over the internet) was her rendition of "Cathy's Clown". It reached #57 in 1981. You wouldn't, by any chance, happen to have that song, would you?
