Hey Thomas, nice playthrough (and well edited!). This game is really cool: strategic at different levels (the hand you are playing, and the BIG choice of which kingdom to "attack"), and lots of creative luck mitigation alternatives via the allies. I actively participated in the playtesting (my name is in the rulebook!), and Wil did a fantastic job filtering/incorporating the comments he received at bbg. One of the best solo games out there, that is for sure!
Thanks! That's so cool that you got to help playtest it and that your name is in the rulebook! This game is one that the more I play, the more I really enjoy it and appreciate how much depth it offers. I'm slowly getting the hang of some of the strategies and the ally abilities. I still haven't taken a crack at the quiet year campaign yet, have you played through that?
