The area of trick room should slow the enemy pokemon as well. I'm not asking for a huge slow but just a small slow would be nice. The move trick room is suppose to alter the speed of all pokemon involved so I feel like this would be appropriate. This way mimikyu can also provide some support to his teammates
I feel like it should give slightly stronger boosted attacks. I know this move is supposed to be a more brawly build than shadow sneak but it just has such a low dmg and the mobility isn't even that great during cc infested teamfights
I think it's not a good buff as its cooldown is very low that everytime you just need to wait 3 second cooldown only after finished. The area of trick room is very wide as well. Can anyone escape from it? Low cd and wide area slow? No way!
@@HuangDou0w0 You just have to get stay out of it, like clefable's gravity. Which is already what you're suppose to do against trick room. A lot of pokemon have dash moves so it's not that debilitating. On top of that mimikyu has to be close by to cast this move.
I like the concept of the move but it just doesn't work in fast paced fights where every one is x speeding, ejecting, and dashing around and out of the area, the area just needs to be increased
I love to see this. Not just meta builds, but fun builds too. So fun to watch. Btw trick room probably needs a buff. They should make the room slow opponents and increase your speed and the dash should deal dmg or else mimikyu does no dmg.
I feel like giving Mimikyu's boosted attacks JUST A LITTLE BIT OF lifesteal when uses inside trick room would be quite nice as an alternative to shadow sneak. Probably that and increase their damage a little when used inside the box and bingo bango you've got a moveset
Pretty much-as I looked him up on uniteapi-he's pretty much neutral until CrisHeroes would appear. Tbh, not sure if this was the case to the fake CrisHeroes trope.
It just feels like there needs to be one more additional perk you get for being inside of the trick room. Maybe extra healing/shielding when hitting boosted autos inside the trick room or move resets/cdr when dashing inside the zone. You could also do something like make Eject Button and XSpeed not work in trick room.
I’m definitely a trick room play ruff believer use to play it a lot back during the mimicu play ruff meta it can force some cluch miss against certain moves
Now let's see this build's pick rate next week getting sky rocketed. But yeah it felt great to watch again proving skills trample all. Also i believe a suprise factor also played a huge role in this as the playerbase has seen almost 0 trick room mimikyu especially in recent times. Can be a good option against Pokémon who have skill shots like that zoroark, scyther and trevenat and you can just juke them the entire game.
@@HuangDou0w0 I guess that's true, but comparing to the value of Shadow Sneak, Trick Room really doesn't stand a chance and it could help Mimikyu brawl in Teamfights, yk?
i play trick room shadow claw because i hate shadow sneak. trick room is not very good but its more consistent and more fun than shadow sneak in my opinion just because of how finnicky shadow sneak is. it took a long time to get good at, but trick room can be really great at team fighting and brawling (also just annoying the enemies) im surprised the overall trick room winrate is so low but it is hard to master for sure. i lost most of matches when trying to learn it but now i win most of them with it edit: forgot to mention I use slow smoke which is the real secret tech to make trick room good
I really wish Trick Room's resistance effects apply to your team as well, or maybe at half effect since giving everyone 50% resistance to snipers is insane.
Yeah usually my jungler sucks. I also think it should really matter for you to be lvl 5. For example leafeon gets its best attack at level 4. So it doesn’t need the jungle. People try to give it to me but i do just fine without it.
I think trick room should be similar to gravity, but no stuns, just prevent use of dashes, or instead of preventing, just make them super short for enemies and longer for allies. Orr it could lower cooldowns for moves in the area and increase them for enemies
I love thay you're showing Trick Room. When Mimikyu got released, even though I enjoyed Shadow Tag more, I loved playing Trick Room. I hope people start playing it more, as nowadays it feels awkward to play it, given how little people play it
I think it has more sinergy with shadow claw cause you can be moving around a lot while auto attacking and reseting the move. Seen couple of guys play it and it’s actually decent.
Cris was indeed shcked by this build. Cris a question for u . How long are u gonna keep playing unite and lets give an example lets say after 2 from now or 1 year what would be ur winrate
Well because in the normal game trick room makes the slower pokemon go first so here just make every enemy that enters it slow not a huge slow but slow and lower their basic attack speed
I played after see this live, and i can say it s not trash, infinite dash is decent but then you had shadow sneak on the other side that is so broken that you don t want play multiple dashes that do almost nothing...
Call me a "hipster", but this has always been my go-to Mimikyu build. If the enemy team has three or more Attackers (or Dodrio), then I'll choose Shadow Sneak for easy resets, but a majority of the time, excellent mobility with complete freedom of use combined with damage reduction, infinite boosted attacks and Razor Claw procs is very strong, and weirdly overlooked.
I'm so glad Trick room is getting traction, I actually have always preferred this move over shadow sneak, but I obviously play Sneak because it's considered better. I haven't play it as much recently, but seeing Cris have fun with it has given Me total motivation to play Trick again!
Okay, play rough should be hindrance resistance or unstoppable if they want it. Make it invincible for every few seconds quite cumbersome for opponent.
