Trick To Extend Your Basic Open End Wrench(not a double open end) 

Genius! I have done the "create -a-tool" on several occasions. I never would have thought of these two ideas! Added to my bag of tricks for sure!

There are a dozen ways to do it. You made it work with what you had on hand. Props to you for that!

I know, in the heat of battle (or a RU-vid video you're filming) our minds can go blank. The term you were searching for is the closed end of a combination wrench. That's in lieu of calling it the "circle end", but we knew what you meant. A very good alternative to the standard (i.e., stupid) practice of linking two wrenches together (the open end of one with the closed end of the other). The idiot that does this usually increases his chances for injury by not wearing any personal protective equipment (safety glasses or a face shield, leather gloves, etc.). For future reference, there are such things as wrench extenders available; see the RU-vid video "Wrench extender versus two spanner trick". Also, check out what Amazon and other online retailers offer.

Pretty work....reverse engineering at it's finest. I've been an aircraft mechanic for a very long time and this is better than scholastic engineering.

I take no advice from someone that stores all their wrenches in one bucket.

I'm. Sure the manufacturer has a wrench for this , find one ,buy it.
