Ruche reminds me of just walking in a stairwell in like a house in eastern Europe that's been converted into a nightclub just about 5 vodka redbulls deep
Sometimes when I hear John's music it honestly makes me feel like I am communicating with a higher lifeform that is compassionately trying to raise my consciousness...wait, that's exactly what's happening....
Music makes more obvious certain patters of the universe which we cannot directly perceive with our senses, at least not in a conscious way. The magic of a true artist is to highlight aspects of life and the universe through these patterns.
His evolution is insane...he still keeps getting better and more creative, I´m super impressed how well he mastered the electronic machines, and with which arrangements he comes up with.. jsut after being on of the greteast guitarists in the world he just becomes a super pro electronic producer. It´s all about his dedication.
Ooh, I see a few patterns on the left half of the cover: Column 1 = n, Column 2 = n+12. (Possible meaning: This is John Frusciante's 12th solo album.) Row n = Row (n-1) + 48. (Possible meaning: His ceiling age at the time of the album's release, and birth year of Jean-Michel Jarre, pioneer of this type of music.) Edit: I didn't think I'd like this because I'm a fan of the organic guitar work in By the Way, but this is good.
Ooh, sorry but that is a load of ridiculous bullshit :/ sure man, 12th album, Jarre's birth year, John's age, riiiiiiiiiiiiight, all those mathematical looking formulas really adding weight to your stoned musings.
yoooo i was listening to this music while watching a tutorial on youtube and came here to say that this literally sounds like its something out of the matrix and this was the first comment i saw lol
As a guitar player I was very upset when John started his electronic phase...half the fun for me is listening to his music n the other half is learning his guitar parts. I miss John's guitar playing but I must say I'm really coming around with his new stuff. keep doing what you do John. We'll always love you
Brady Carroll yeah. I love RHCP and Johns solo stuff, but ever since he went electronic, I haven't liked anything so far. Don't like the style, whether its John or whoever
Tanguy Blanchard haha no I haven't got around to any of the guitar parts for his latest release. I went through a good 8 month period where I was obsessed with anything John Frusciante touched. But recently I've been learning alot of Hendrix rhythm playing and some early Clapton stuff off the Beano album. But sooner or later I'll go back to John's stuff...I always do 🙂
JJWP 88 I love one thing about John. He doesn't care what people think about him. He just go ahead and does what he loves. He couldn't care less. This kind of attitude is fucking legend: he moved on.
OMG John!!!!!...This is the most fantastic thing I've heard in a long time !!! ... Thanks for sharing ... Your music is magnificent ... I loved it.. I'm so happy :)
Exactly the sound im after ,John is great, his home studio is full of freaking good analog drum machines and synthesizers, and much more stuff. He is evolving as a musician.Great human being. This album is amazing!!!
Enjoying with my mind right now. every time I discovered an other song of Frusciante, it blows my mind, and every every time, I go further away. SPECTACULAR album. Easy going youtube -channel, thanks a lot for share one of the greatest musician ( if not the best I ever heard) of many ways and styles in the century 21.... Saludos from Chile
That would be a pretty short party. Both Trickfinger albums back to back would last less than an hour, then even with Foregrow and Outsides, etc, you would barely go 2 hours even including Enclosure and Letur Lefr which are not really electronic. John calls Enclosure progressive synth pop and Letur is closer to hip hop, as is Black Knights obviously.
just completly heard: fantastic takes me back to beginning of the ninetees, but exelent, every composing by mister frusciante is marvel&shines between the ears...)
thanks for the reference! never knew this band i think the pattern is the same but "stall" is tone down or something thats the beauty in electronic music it is basically borrowed- and sampled
All Trickfinger albums are performed and recorded live. Please listen carefully this album with that in mind and you will understand the perfect need of Frusciante to programm every piece of drum machine and syntheseizer to be perfect. Pure madness!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This second Trickfinger album is a lot better than the first, in my opinion. The first one was mildly entertaining, but this one is exciting to listen to, each track, just like John's other albums. I too can hear the big AFX influence, and the difference between that first Trickfinger album and this one is like the difference between AFX's 80s acid material and his more mature early 90's stuff.
i've been waiting since; jue 2017 for this album: whent to the store were i ordered it on vinyl & ceedee, but it still hadn't been delivered; I'm hoping john that acid test can find it's way to a small 'yet good) vinylseller: coffee&vinyl, towards next week, cause this has at least put a pleister on the wound of not having it after sutch a long wait; sounds great so far anyway, so if it's this good it even is better then trickfinger one, thanks john, now i have the music before the vinyl & ceedee, you must have known x
Lucas there is absolutely zero guitar on the first Trickfinger album so here it is completely unexpected. I'm usually telling clueless people to shut the fuck up when they suggest John doesn't play guitar anymore in any meaningful way which only proves they don't really know him or understand his work at all but this guy has got a point.
Fer Stifler es muy curioso que tanto John como Gus hayan tenido sus carreras como iconos del PopRock y a la vez un fuerte lazo con la música electrónica!
Poem I really didn´t like so much.. in the beginning I also didn´t see the greatness of all his stuff since 2009, but I really love it, he was again ahead of most everyone´s time..
Im happy with these tracks, ive been wondering what John's up to, i knew i wouldn't get it. I was just hoping Johns ok in the head and now i hear it it just feels good
Nicolas Moreno awesome! Also “The Railway Raver” is a direct influence of Johns (link below) enjoy! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-so0BXGEVuoE.html
