The Bomb Rock literally waited for the Bug-Eyed Crawmad to eat it before blowing up with comedic timing. Not even Olimar would be able to explain these cartoon physics.
Honestly, the Bug-Eyed Crawmad takes a good look at the glowing, _audibly sizzling_ bomb rock and eats it anyway instead of chucking it back to sender. It’s pretty much natural selection at that point.
@@TheRealBatabii In 4, it's because all elemental Dweevils have the ability to hold bomb rocks like the Volatile ones, and also they function the same as Volatile Dweevils.
super duper small detail I really appreciate is the enemies that pick them up with their claws actually have their pinchers retracted open a bit more since the rock is larger than pikmin and pikpik carrots, it's nice since that means the rock doesn't clip through their model
The shock, then the agony, then the dismay, then the vulnerability and fear on the Startle Spore's face as he realized the graveness of his injuries before slippin' the mortal coil sorta killed me. It was 5% sad and 95% hilarious lol
I usually kill Toady Bloyster so quick I didn't know its tongue did that. Such a cool reference to the way ribbon worms shoot their contents out like a web to eat.
The Pyroclasmic Slooch and Burrowing Snagret can eat those too Edit: Also includes the Gildemandwee, baby Aristocrab, Sunsquish Maybe add Dweevils kinda, and possibly Honeywisps but I haven't gotten it to work
@@speedrunner0031yeah he's got a trick for that, luring you into rushing him then screaming so your pikmin yeet themselves into the poison on the ground
@@Ikazune_he isn't in hey Pikmin or bloom, and him being in Pikmin 3 doesn't really mean he should be in Pikmin 4 specially since Pikmin 4 takes place in an alternative timeline to Pikmin 1, before Louie was introduced
I think Grubchucker cannot grab Bomb Rocks because it is one of the more unique eating creatures that exist, since it waits for a while before it actually eats whatever is in its mouth.
Why does the Pearly Clamclamp behave differently when eating a Bomb Rock vs a Pikmin AND Bomb Rock? Seemed like the first one did less damage since the clam didnt die
Sadly, this is it. Every enemy that wasn't shown, like the Burrowing Snagret, either cannot eat bombs or refuse to pick them up :( Here's hoping for DLC!
@@kristinhorner4628 The Sovereign Bulblax can indeed eat bombs, but since it's just a larger version of the Emperor Bulblax, I didn't bother putting it in the video since the animation is exactly the same. The same goes for the "Jumbo" Bulborb.
@@Owlero I was able to get the Burrowing Snagret to eat one, it was incredibly infuriating, and took a lot of resetting in the piklopedia, but I managed to get it to eat one! And only one, as I was unable to replicate it, bird’s to smart (That and the hit box has to be REALLY precise…)
