I kept making the mistake of stepping in with my jab every time. Sometimes it’s ok but my friend noticed when I’m sparring smaller opponents (im 6’2 with long reach) I’m closing the distance for them every time I jab resulting in me getting countered regularly 😂 It took someone explaining it to me for me to notice and adjust. Great video you are the first coach I have heard say this
Thx for breaking down the right hand lead. When Eddie tore his left bicep vs Thomas Adamek and beat him down with lead right hand switching into southpaw right jabs was beautiful.
In my opinion you're hands down the best boxing coach on youtube. Most of them recycle the same basic lessons so much its hard to tell 1 apart from the other, not to mention cant learn anything new. I remember watching your hand drop video and my brother n I practicing it for a few hours. Thank you coach
Great choice I really like the techniques and drills coach ..as always fire 🔥.... I'm going to go get my reps in try to drill that a little bit..thank you 🙏
1. no need to always step with jab, shoulder pop for power 2. step with front leg only then get back out of range 3. if jab doesnt reach you know to step 4. 5. 6. 7.
Congratulation, proud of you both ( Ford ) watched him from young , shows you know what you are talking about. The body shots, then coming up top was sharp and precise.
He’s about the jab to counter … I use step in jabs when need to use jab power however I think 🤔 that you should use both and counter or taking away the opponent’s weapon…. ❤
Awesome video! The overhead right is one of my favorite & most developed punches...the angle by which the punch archs down is very unorthodox and tend to catch alot of experienced boxers off guard or should I say *just over the guard!*
Great video coach, i like how lately im seeing stuff from older videos you put out and im glad for that because some of it ive forgotten about. But i been following your channel for a long time. And like always great info. If someone is learning boxing at home or even in a gym they are really missing out without coach anthony. Anyways coach , do you teach the left/lead cross.(ortho. Stance)
Hi Coach! Could you make a few episodes for young trainers or people who think about becoming trainers? What mistakes should they avoid in their work, something about methodology.
@@CoachAnthonyBoxing this is what I love about boxing to people that don't box they just think it's about just punching but so much more thank you for the information
There's a problem in your fighter Rayman ford He's to reactive And throwing random combos In most trade And he don't defend himself after he land especially his head is not moving
Damm l gotta eat my words your guy pulled it off in the last round you made your first world champion Kudos all my shit talking bit me in the Ass Lol 😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂
