Thank you for this video. I got my copy today and holy cow that 30+ page rulebook is intimidating! Watching this immediately relaxed me about teaching this game. There are a ton of things to consider adding the characters on top of the standard rules but it seems much easier now that I’ve watched😅
Thanks so much for watching! Haha yeah I tried to keep the rulebook as short as I could, but there was so much information that needed to be included to make sure nothing was missed! But I am so happy the video has helped you. Good luck with getting it to the table and I hope you have a wildly good time 😁
Love that! It's such a wonderful game and I'm so happy more English speaking people will have access to it soon. And thanks for watching the video, you're the best!!
Great teaching video. Unfortunately I can’t find anywhere within the video that actually tells you how a player wins the game at the end of three rounds outside of just meeting their character’s win condition.
Starting at 19:46 (end of round 1) is where all the win conditions are checked, in order. Additionally, at the end of round 2, starting at 23:57, it's stated again. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching the video 😀
In the Revolt trick, isn't the Black suit "below" the Red/Blue/Green cards in hierarchy, so it actually loses to a R/B/G card in the Revolt trick? At least, that is what the PGC published rulebook says: "Note: Also keep in mind the Black suit is a "higher" strength and will lose to the Red, Blue, and Green suits during a revolt trick."
Yep, this is explained starting at 33:05 in the video. The Black suit is stronger that R/B/G and in a Revolt trick the weakest card wins. Thanks for watching 😁
There seems to be an error in the sped-up play of the first round around the 19 minute mark. The fourth trick saw the Berserker winning a trick with the white flag?
The Berserker correctly won that trick. The Resistance played their Revolt Token that trick (the card played right before the Berserker) turning it into the Revolt Trick, which makes the weakest card win the trick, aka the White Flag played by the Berserker.
