Beans used today were the Masters Collection in collaboration with New Ground Coffee from Beans Coffee Club. Very nice! I over exaggerated with the amount of Roasters they are partnered with but I’m sure it’s a growing list !
Not sure what was causing the strange bubbling as the coffee was brewing , I’m guessing a clogged filter or earth tremors lol !

What a brilliant day!! That quite the coffee maker. I'd like to get one of them portable French coffee press maker coffee filter...not exactly if that is what they are called, but they look rather interesting. Enjoy the brew! Bruce and Otis

Yes the portable French Press , go for it ! I know Stanley make a nice sturdy one that a lot of you guys over there seem to enjoy using. Cheers buddy

Man, that tricky Tricolate 😅. That brewer at times can give you great results, but more often than not, things go wrong 😅. I'm sorry buddy, but $15 seems to be the going rate for the filters. However, reusing them a few times is definitely the way to go. Great video buddy. 💯

Converted to British pounds we should be paying £11.75 for them then 🫤 Still expensive for the size of the filters when you can buy a box of 100 no.4’s for £2.99 ! Yes , tricky lol , did you notice the strange bubbling that started? I’m guessing the filter was clogged after the swirl but I’ve never seen it do that before , or maybe it was not wetting the filter to seat it correctly? Any ideas mr Hoffman ? lol 😂

@newforestexplorer My best guess would be probably some kind of channeling problem. That's what always happens with the Tricolate. I would have done some Wet WDT to maybe help the situation. The coffee was probably degassing through a channel right there in that spot of the puck. That's my guess 🤷‍♂️, but what do I know 😅.
