Raspberry is my favorite because to me it's more tart/tangy which makes it taste less sickeningly sweet. When eating my pop tarts I break off the unfrosted no filling bits and just eat the center part 😅. I felt that strawberry preserves vs. grape jelly. I dislike all things that are artificial grape flavored because my parents only gave us that kids grape cough syrup growing up 🤢.
This reminds me of the Cheat Day episode with Joslyn and Lily, when you gave them hints in the background 🖤. Also takes me back to my high school days, when i would buy the strawberry ones out of the vending machines occasionally for my lunch as a "treat" lol
Growing up, a lady in our neighborhood used to give out the silver two packs as Halloween treats. It was kind of fun getting surprised once you unwrapped them! Maybe an idea for you!
The day after Halloween; Parent; No, you can't have sweets/ candy for breakfast. Child 1; But... Mrs Smith from ...Street gave me Poptarts. A few minutes later... Child 2; What did you get? Child 1; Brown sugar cinnamon, you? Child 2; Cookie and Cream
You have to put the smores in the toaster. It would bump it up on your list for sure. Also my second favorite is the Sugar cookie one that comes out around December
I'm old enough to remember when all pop tarts were unfrosted. One of my fav frosted flavs was Dutch apple. Not sure what made them Dutch, but they were so good! 🍎
@@ErinRobinson Yep, they did. I think the original concept was supposed to be like a real tart (for the toaster) but Kellogg’s probably realized they would sell more if they added even more sugar.🧁
My parents only let me get strawberry or brown sugar cinnamon growing up. which... I was definitely missing out. Personally I feel like the chocolate type ones are better than the fruit ones.
I love that you have a Christmas tree in the background! I have had a Christmas tree up for three years! I like the lighting ambiance in my living room when I’m watching tv at night
13:41 You're so funny! I love watching your food vids so much, especially when you give little backstories into some of what the flavours taste and feel like 😂
Cookies and Crème has been my favorite for the last several years, but I may need to try some new flavors! Also, if there are any other pop tart connoisseurs here, does anybody else remember the Sugar Cookie pop tarts? They used to be seasonal like around Christmas I think. But I haven’t seen them in ages. Now I’m wondering though if that cupcake flavor would taste similar??? Not sure if I’ll ever fully forgive poptart if they completely got rid of that flavor😢
Unfrosted cherry is my favorite but now I’m gonna have to go try a bunch of these! Erin, you have to try the raspberry cheesecake cookie at subway, it may change your mind about raspberry 🍪🍪
We somehow always had poptarts in the house, but only certain kinds: plain, strawberry frosted, & brown cinnamon. Then, later on we added in smores, wild berry, & cookies and creme on occasion. I remember loving the smores. But you gotta toast them!
i'm not big on heating them up, BUT the Hot Fudge Sunday ones, i do put those in the freezer, because it makes taste closer to ice cream, and i love it that way, best way to eat those imo
Definitely a raw dog pop tarter and brown sugar cinnamon was my go to. Of course it’s been a few years since I last had one and they probably taste like cardboard now 😂😂 Have a fabulous day Erin 😃
The strawberry (frosted and unfrosted), brown sugar and frosted blueberry are the GOAT's of pop tarts. Toast them and put butter on them girrrrrrl... only way to eat them.
OMG when you wore a blue shirt similar to the box color! Brown sugar and wild berry are my favorites! But I do love s'mores, strawberry, blueberry, the chocolate fudge and the Oreo one. The frosted cupcake is good too but I can't finish a whole box. They have a cinnamon roll, peanut butter and jelly, and red velvet cupcake too I heard are pretty good.
I was always allowed to pick a treat out for vacation and I'd usually pick Blueberry PopTarts. It's very nostalgic and still delicious. Confetti Cupcake is my new fave. I bought them to stop myself from eating worse food.
Toast the pop tart when my Dad would let me buy them. Frosted strawberry ( all day every day) is my jam and the only one we could buy! Now I need to try the cookies and cream!
My favorites are the brown sugar cinnamon and the frosted blueberry. Growing up, we usually had the strawberry, cherry or occasionally the brown sugar. Before they were mostly frosted, we used to toast them and put butter on them. 😍 My husband still slathers butter on the frosted ones.
Ive been on a journey with the flavors my whole life. Blueberry and Apple Cinnamon as a young kid. Brown sugar cinnamon and frosted strawberry in school (costco pack). Oreo in college when I could choose my own. And now pumpkin pie when it comes around, its my fav.
i used to get chocolate chip cookie dough, redvelvet and i've had blueberry muffin. I also remember a strawberry milkshake. They may have discontinued these flavors
Same! We only ever had frosted brown sugar but my Mom would have a secret stash of unfrosted Strawberry which was only hers… based on ur review now I know why! 😂 They do make an actual cookie dough pop tart too that I’ve seen.
I always liked mine warmed up just a tad in the micro. All time favorite the frosted blueberry and then the grape. Then the snickerdoodle. And I'd eat anything pumpkin first. I am one of those. Now I want a Pop Tart. Darnit!!!
My youngest son loves the wild berry ones. I'm fond of the raspberry. We don't do unfrosted Pop Tarts in our house, even my 77yo mom won't eat those. Occasionally, limited edition flavors are a nice change, but the peach cobbler flavor was just wrong.
I grew up with my parents buying the strawberry when we were little and then the s’mores when we were older. I now love and find BSC superior and I warm them up maybe 1/5 of the times I eat them.
My favorites are forever gonna be the S’mores, Wild Berry, Apple Flavor and Cinnamon Flavored, since 17 years old, they have been my go to, I’m an 80’s baby
The only poptart that comes out on top is Wild berry with the blue squiggle. Second is the Chocolate chip cookie dough with the chocolate squiggle but freeze it and eat it . Then the classic brown cinnamon sugar
Well, before my gluten intolerance was stumbled upon 🙃 toasted all the way!! Girl, you should have toasted them!! Oh how I miss poptarts. Also, my fav was always the go to brown sugar cinnamon, even without being limited. I used to lick the top before I ate it 😅😅
I love raspberries! I like all the fruit poptarts. I was screaming every time you took bites with the crust to judge this, that's the worst part 😂😂. I never even eat the crust of the poptart.
The most underrated flavors that are my #1 faves is the strawberry milkshake and vanilla milkshake. The vanilla milkshake one i used to get in middle school around christmas time and they had snowmen and stuff printed on them. Iykyk.
I’m a raw dawg break in half pop tart eater. Pleased to see we agree on something here with the s’mores, blueberry, and wild berry.. and of course brown sugar cinnamon 😊 Also- I couldn’t agree more.. WHY don’t expensive restaurants have indulgent apple pies?? What a great thought!
A few years ago there was a partnership between Pop-tarts and Jolly Ranchers. The watermelon flavored pop tart was amazing and tasted just like the candy.
Most people worry about their partner cheating on them, Matt should be worried about Erin cheating on him with one or more Poptarts (Brown sugar+ cinnamon definitely in the mix)
I've never met a Pop Tart I hated, but my go-to flavors are Brown Sugar Cinnamon (a fan for 59 years!) and Blueberry. Cookies & Cream are great when I need a chocolate fix.
