amazing illustrations.honestly the best video on trigeminal system I had someinfo about each part but I couldnt make the connection with them .i mean you made it step by step and you covered all the important parts.thank you so much .
Other motor innervation of the maxillary nerve (besides the muscles of mastication and tensors) include the mylohyoid and the anterior belly of the digastric muscle!
Great video, very informative. Cleared up quite a bunch for me, but the first division of trigeminal is called ophthalmic division, not opthalmic. Thanks a lot, though!
I have syringomyelia which extends from T2 to past my C1 ( syringobulbia). The first symptoms I had above the shoulders were numbness sensation in the middle of my forehead. When I scratch it unless I do it intensely I can't feel it. Then came dizzyness when I got out of bed. Then intense stinging sensation in the upper middle part of my cheek which automatically made me grab my face. My next symptom was my left cheek began to sink inward, my right cheek started to do so some time after. Then my face and tongue started having tingling sensations. My whole face now has a sunken appearance even around the dorsal of my nose. I now get constant twitches in my right eyebrow in the thickest part close to the nose. I have no wasting of the tongue and speech seems unaffected. I'm a wheelchair user for 4 years, with wasting of hands, arms, shoulders. Syringomyelia is a rare disease and it's hard finding a Dr who is knowledgeable on it. In your opinion could a syrinx cause these facial issues?. Thank you
