I don't know if this will work for your labels but it might: If you sweep the label with the heatgun it softens the glue back and you can pull more off for the initial peel. 90% Rubbing alcohol for the goo. The usual is 70% in most stores and that doesn't work very well at all vs the 90. Orange peeling stick works better than a credit card because its super flat plastic end and gets under the paper ~ When I finally was doing ok I became a takeout queen for bit. lol

I have been making candles for over 25 yrs, and I have wayyyy too much stuff! I decided to make candles in the vessels I wanted to get rid of and sell them as themes, buy-one-get-one half-off, etc. For my overload of fragrances, I will use them to blend or make candles with them, and when they sell out, that's it for that fragrance. I brainstormed ideas on how to make money with my overage. I LOVE your videos!

When I repurpose/recycle jar I place the empty jar in the sink and pour boiling water in it. I let it overflow so it takes everything out. That usually looses up the label as well as left over wax. Then a quick pass through with a sponge and dish soap does the trick. If there is left over glue, I use a little bit of Glue be Gone or some acetone.

I’ve done it many times , maybe not boiling but hot. The water softens the glue and the paper peels right off. Try it on a bottle with a label you’ll see.
