Glad I saw this video. I’m about to send my first one back for a power failure that happened in the middle of a match. Was considering buying another while I wait for this to get fixed now I may look into another product. Thank you.
I had one fail after 3.5 years and over 90k rounds on a Glock 34. I did a bunch of dry firing with it too . While waiting on my SRO I bought a Holosun 507C, and I didn’t like it .Trijicon sent me a brand new SRO in under a month . Since then I have bought 4 more and have had zero problems with any of them . I see many of the influencers on this platform pushing Holosun . There was a time before platforms were demonetized that you could trust reviews , that time is long gone . I enjoy your channel , and feel you are one of the few people on here that people can trust . I am sad to hear your experience with Trijicon , because mine has been the opposite. I also have an Sig Max 3 that I have been happy with . I just bought a Beretta 92X performance and was debating on the optic I will use . It will either be Sig Max or XL , or another SRO .
I had a power failure on my SRO as well. I boxed it up and shipped it back and my turnaround was about three weeks. They fixed the problem and said that my glass was scratched and replaced it for a fee of 95 dollars. Since getting it back I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I will say that their customer service kept me abreast on my SRO throughout the entire process.
My 1st sro died from power failure at 8k rounds took about 6 weeks to fix. My 2nd sro was sent back at 12k rounds due to not holding zero. They actually replaced it and that was only a 2 week ordeal. I did get a 3rd sro as a back up. I did consider the 507 comp but I couldn’t find one at a reasonable price at the time. I’m sticking with trijicon for the foreseeable future but I can understand why you won’t be using them anymore
I'm about to send my 5th back for the lens glue failure. I have 6. The last one I sent they "expedited" a replacement, not a repair, and I waited 8 weeks then called. They had "forgotten" to put in an invoice for the replacement so it just sat there. So if you have one sitting and you're waiting, make sure to call them back. I'm considering selling new units when they return as well. For 2 guns, you need 3 of any dot in my opinion. Trijicon has me stretching that want to 4. I have 3 dedicated to 2 competition guns, and this last round I almost pulled one off a "fun" gun for a fourth.
Had the same issue. 1st SRO i bought was last year 2022. Had it on my S&W 2.0 PC 9mm. It faied in a couple of months. Sent it back they gave me a new one. Recently this year 2023 in October it failed again. Still waiting on a replacement. Looking for another maybe Holsun
Mine just died at the range...I have no confidence in this company..I will send it back..and put the SRO on a .22 for hacking around..but not on the Glock..never.
I have an SRO that is 6 months old and has failed. I don't have 100 rounds through the gun. Sending it in tomorrow. I have 2. I think I am going to go with Holosun from here on out. I have 7 Holosuns and no failures.
I just experienced the power failure. Had it for 3 years without issues. Utterly disappointed, already started the process to get it fixed. Might jump on the holosun bandwagon. 😑
Lol. Wow. Maybe you should stop buying them and get something different. Why keep buying them? I would have stop after the 2nd one. Wow. You say it's a failure but you bought 5 of them. Crazy.
Have you ever had the battery die exceptionally quick? I have 2 SRO and 4 RMR. When rotating guns, my new SRO will die in 1 month, while it's turned off.
I will be trying the new Gideon Omega which is a SRO copy but only $200. Have a couple Holosun and an SRO without issues, but I think $200 is hard to beat so I will see how that one lasts before getting Holosun comp
