Certainly! Just need to fix some brackets and a small leak near the instrument sensor. Also weather in Queensland currently bit cold :-) and not much wind also. Maybe October - November.
Very true. Kendrick's design is very easy to build and comes with clear plans describing every single step. I can't believe this Scarab 650 have that much maneuverability for multi-hull type. My other 17' mono-hull powerboat does less angle then this Scarab 650. I guess it because of the length and sizes of rudder+centerboard. I now need to fix all findings and hopefully soon share more videos.
@@catamaraniablogcatamaniac8833 yeah i'm a big fan of trimarans. moved up from beach cats. I have a Haines Hunter Tramp, which is similar to your Scarab but without the cabin. I was considering building a 650 but the tramp came up real cheap. Im up at Mackay Queensland so if you ever do a trip to the whitsundays I would love to have a look at your boat.
@@scottlampe70 I've been driving via Mackay couple of times. Lovely place, town beach (there was no water btw). I will now consider your invite and perhaps one day ... :-) I have dream to go to Gladstone and Mackay would be next!
@@catamaraniablogcatamaniac8833 your boat would be awesome for cruising/camping. You should definately do the west coalst of K'gari during whale season. if you want to see what cruising/camping on a small boat can be like in the whitsundays, have a look at a couple of my video's here. theyre nothing flash but a good example of what we can do on small trimarans.
