Love your videos. I have used Survey Pro for 20+ years and I recently got a Trimble S7 robotic with a TSC 3 Access. I also use Civil 3D and it has been challenging to get Civil 3D and Trimble to communicate. This is a great help. Thanks.
Around <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="210">3:30</a> you mention that when you reopen Civil3D after downloading Trimble link, a popup window should ask for your product registration code. I went through Trimble's website and received a code but this pop up window did not appear, therefore I cannot get Trimble Link onto my Ribbon. Any advice?
Hey so if you're running AutoCAD C3D 2020 and wish to use Trimble Link and you already have Trimble Access on the data collector, do you also have to also have Trimble Business Center to manage the file uploads from C3D's Trimble Link add on to the data collector? Or can the C3D/Trimble Link Files just be uploaded directly to the data collector running Trimble Access? I only ask as I'm not sure if Trimble requires you to have TBC in order to utilize Trimble Link's capability of converting the C3D entities like alignments & surfaces
@@SurveyingWithRobert alright sorry to bother again... I am running C3D 2020 and I downloaded the most current version's file. but after the install finished there isn't anything new on CAD's menubar or ribbon for Trimble Link. Did I miss something by chance? I'm wondering if the download went to the wrong hard drive potentially?
Nevermind. Forgot that I had to use the CUI command in Civil 3D to get the Trimble Link Tab to add to the ribbon. But it's fixed; sorry for the confusion
@@joshuaellis8380 Hi Joshua, have you been able to figure this out? I'm having the same issue, I'm able to import 2d dxf files and stakeout, but not 3d dxf files. I'm using 2018 C3D and 2019 Trimble Access, General Survey Helgi Valgeirsson
