I would also Create a New Transit system in Northwest Oregon Called Northwest Oregon Transit. If you don’t know that it means, it’s where I combine Clackamas Clatsop Columbia Hood River Marion Multnomah Polk Tillamook Washington and Yamhill Counties. I would help raise enough money to help fund a project for a new transit system. Because it would help people get from 1 place to another a lot quicker. And it would help reduce traffic jams and Rush hour traffic on the Interstate System.
The Oregon Electric railroad did something similar to that, connecting the cities of Portland, Hillsboro, Banks, Cornelius, Forest Grove, North Plains, Beaverton, Tigard, Wilsonville, Salem, Woodburn, Albany, Junction City, Eugene, etc. it was more like western Oregon transit.
It’s the one with a video from Pentrex that shows an E Unit Burlington Northern locomotive with 3 to 7 commuter passenger cars with double deck floors where you can see the view a lot like the Metra In Chicago and The Metro link in Los Angeles and the Caltrain In San Francisco Bay Area.
I also wanted to create plans to expand Northwest Oregon Transit is because I want to help expand better plans to Extend the WES Commuter Train into Salem Keizer and Woodburn.
I posted a video that talks about what trains I showed. Because there is one that I decided what is good for the WES Service. It’s a double deck car and multiple cars with a diesel locomotive unit.
There’s a few of those around the P&W system. There’s one at Tigard TC, Beaverton TC (in this video), one in Tualatin, and one in Salem (not on the WES line.) There might be more but that’s all I can think of off the top of my head
@@OtterMan310there actually used to be one at the Beaverton Creek max station. But it was only for the PNW line that used to be there and it was removed. The cool thing about it was that the lights all flashed at the same time, not alternatively! Making an insanely rare signal! It’s really sad that it got removed.
